Rahul told me that there is a party going in the VVIP area and asked me if I want to go. I think about it for some time and said Yess. This will be my first time attending a VVIP party. I was expecting at least one actor or any kind of fun activity which will make this VVIP party different and better from VIP parties but no it was opposite of it.
If one word can describe this it's ' Funeral '.
The music was loud but only a hand full of people were dancing.
Each and every being that I could see, other then the people who are dancing, was enjoying their drink with their friends but not in a sane way. It felt like they were fighting to keep their eyes open.
These people need to understand food and sleep comes first in life before anyone and anything else. Atleast that's pari and my motto.
" Baby this place looks a little odd don't you think? " I screamed over the music even though he was standing right beside me.
" Baby this is how these parties are. " He replied.
" Okay " I believe him. I mean when you don't know about something you believe the person who have experience in that thing and when Rahul in not sleeping or in his office he is at a party. ALWAYS.
We walk towards the bar. The bartender looked sane to me. Rahul and I sat on the chairs of the bar and Rahul order our drinks. I took my sweet time looking around.
This VVIP party is quite boring. And there's no eye candy here.
I know I am in a relationship but there is this rule of a relationship that ' You Can Appreciate Opposite Gender's Beauty, Even When You Are In A Relationship But You Cannot Compare Your Significant Other Beauty With Anyone. '
There's a fine line between appreciating and comparing.
There's nothing wrong in appreciating someone's beauty but there's everything wrong in comparing it.
This party is not happening at all. I saw some girls and boys dancing on the dancefloor or should I say grinding eachother. Then there are people scattered around the tables, on the table and even on the floor. I sense something wrong. I don't know what but something. I can't put my finger on it.
" Here's your drink babe. " My chain of thoughts broke when Rahul handed me my drink. Whiskey. I use to drink wine only but Rahul somehow made me like whiskey. I took a sip of it. It tasted a little wired. Looks like I still can't get used to it.
Rahul and I talked about normal stuff for the rest of my drink. Then I excused myself for washroom. I asked for the direction from the bartender.
I hurried to the direction because of two things- first, I needed to pee and second, my head was spinning from the drink I just had.
This is not the first time I saw the world rotating around me because of whiskey so I knew I just need to fresh and up I will be fine.
The washroom was far away from the area of party. And believe me or not the hallway towards the washroom was as empty and dark as any hallway in a horror movie.
I mean come on, there is a party going on and this is a club how can a hallway be this deserted?
There was dim light, enough for me to see the floor I was walking. But I my spinning head made it difficult for me to see things. I notice a CCTV camera in front of the washroom door.
I open the door of washroom and entered and like the hallway the washroom have no sign of human or any other creature. Humans are creatures and you cannot argue about that.
Suddenly one of the stall doors opened and a girl walked out. My head was spinning and the light of the washroom, I don't know why, was yellow which made the girl look like a malnutritioned corn.
" Who are you? Get out of here. You cannot use this washroom. " She said hurriedly.
" Why? " Wow was that my voice. My voice sounded like a men's voice. A very old man with sore throat.
" Because I am using it. Now get lost. " She said and with each word her voice grew louder. Oh the corn was angry she was going to throw popcorn at me.
" There are like 4 stalls, how upset is your stomach? " I asked.
The corn was visibly angry she pulled out a something from her purse and pointed it at me. My blurred vision made it hard for me to identify the object. I blink my eyes serval time to make something out of it. It is not popcorn for sure. After blinking for sometime I finally understand what it is.
IT WAS GUN!!!!
God kids these days are so scary. You can't even joke with them. I have to think fast before this malnutritioned corn pull the trigger.
I realised i haven't brought my purse which was wired. I ALWAYS take my purse to washrooms when ever I am out. It wouldn't have helped anyway. I don't have a gun in my bag.
" Hey, calm down. I am going out. You can have the whole washroom for yourself ." I said as I started to take some steps back, towards the door. God, does kids these days have gun with them all the time?
If I wasn't drunk and on a gun point I would have asked for her age to compare her with me. I mean when I was a teenager the only thing I carry all the time was a 100 rupee note for emergencies. Which I never got the chance to use.
I slowly got out of there but before I could take my drunk self towards my, I assume also drunk, boyfriend. I ran into someone and my already spinning world became dark when my head hit the ground.
I don't remember what happened next. The only thing I know is I didn't kill her and I have nothing to prove my innocence with.
