That night the blonde grabbed a backpack, her hiking bag that she never used. She dug through her drawers and grabbed two tee shirts and socks. She shoved them in the bag and slipped on her converse. She opened her door quietly and headed to her father's room. She cracked to door to make sure he was asleep and stepped in. Careful with every step, it reminded her of when Mack, Lydia and her played spies as kids. She walked over to his nightstand and took out his wallet. Grabbing three $20 bills and ran out of the room. She grabbed her bag and headed to the park to meet Boris.

Boris grabbed his bag, he had placed on top of his closet. His runaway bag, it had snacks, money, clothes, cigarettes and two bottles of Jack Daniel's. He made this bag 3 years ago but never used it, he wasn't running away now he just needed to leave quick. He opened his window and stepped out carefully the cold air hitting his pale face almost immediately, and off he went to go meet Fern.

"Where are we going?" Fern asked as the duo walked to the local bus stop.

"Phoenix" Fern's blue orbs grew 2x in size. "I can't go to Phoenix." "Calm down girly it's not like we're going to Texas or something." He reassured her. "Plus I'll have you back by Monday." Fern sighed. Out of all the places why Phoenix, Fern wished he said California instead.

The two took a seat on the cold bench. Fern hated this, it was cold, about to rain and if her dad found out she was leaving she was dead meat. Boris whispered something to himself before getting up "I'll be back." Just as he stood up and ran away onto another bus, the Phoenix bus pulled up. The door opened revealing an old, rugged man who was wearing a cap over his assumed bald head. "You gettin on little lady?"

"Can you wait like 10 minutes please?" Fern begged. The man took off his hat an rubbed his head "I'll give ya 5." And with that the blonde dashed to the other bus Boris was on.

Boris sat on the bench in the dark, Fern sitting next to him. It was quiet. The boy stared around the small stop, until he saw the blonde hair he had grown very fawn off. "Kotku" he whispered, getting up. He turned to the brunette and said "I'll be back" before running to the bus Kotku was walking onto.

"Kotku!" He yelled causing her to turn around, angry.

"Are you like stalking me now?!"

"No, look I'm really sorry. Come with me and Fern to Phoenix please." He was begging her, his eyes were glossy.

"Fern? Who's Fern? Have you been cheating on me?" She acted hurt.

"No. No she's my friend." He explained when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to be met by blue eyes 'Shit'. "Boris come on we have to go now!"

"Goodbye Boris."

"Kotku!" He yelled, he tried to sit down next to her but she put her backpack next to her and her headphones in. Boris went and slumped in the seat two spaces in front of her.

"Boris come on, we have to go now!" Fern pulled on his sweatshirt. Suddenly the bus started to move. "Shit!" The blonde pushed to the front of the bus.

"Sir please stop, I'm not suppose to be on this bus."

"Sorry kid but once this bad boys in motion, there's no stopping him."

"No."

"Yes."

"Where are we even going?"

"Las Vegas, Nevada."
