Y/n's POV

"This is so cool!" Jay says as he floats in front of me. "I'm just like Fritz Donnegan! Fair isn't a word where I come from!"

I sigh and roll my eyes. When Lloyd and I grew up, I thought there wouldn't be anymore kids on the team, but I guess I was wrong; Jay is more childish than all of us put together.

"We're exiting the atmosphere!" Nya says, looking out the window. "It won't be long before we need to switch shuttles."

"Let's put these on," Cole suggests, handing out a spacesuit to everyone. "But wait... there's seven of us, but only six suits."

"Zane doesn't need one, boulder head," I say in a joking manner. "He's a robot."

"Ninja! Can you hear me?" Sensei says, his voice coming from the communicator on Zane.

"Loud and clear!" Zane answers.

"Remember, if you cannot change your circumstances, change yourself!" Sensei says.

"Really?" I say sarcastically. "You connected with us just to tell us that?"

"Good luck, ninja. Ninjago is counting on you."

—————timeskip———

"Oh, come on!" I exclaim as the nindroids appear from the top half of the rocket. "Why can't we have it easy just once?"

We had just climbed out of our shuttle and now we're trying to get up to the next one... but we're having some difficulties.

"Whoa!" Cole cries as his grip fails and he starts to float away.

"Hang on buddy!" Jay shouts. He ties a black line of tubing around his waist and jumps towards Cole. He does a few strokes forward, and succeeds in grabbing ahold of him.

The rest of us pull the tubing to get them back to the shuttle. Once we're all standing on the rocket again, Lloyd makes a shield with his energy to block the lasers the nindroids are firing, while the rest of us shoot our powers towards them. Now with a system to fight back, we are able to advance towards the nindroids, to the point where we're right at the door to the shuttle. With one final sweep of Zane's ice, all the nindroids are now floating helplessly in space.

"Everybody get inside!" Lloyd exclaims, pulling up the hatch. "Wait—where's Cole?"

"Cole? He's right here," Kai states, but the place where he's looking has no sign of him.

"Oy! Turn around you lunatic!" I say, pulling him around and pointing. "He's floated away again!"

"Uh, guys?" Cole shouts, trying to pull through the air. "A little help?"

"On it," Nya says, shooting a swirl of water around him, which circles his waist. "Zane, now!"

Zane freezes the water, and then we're able to use the solid ice as a hook to pull our friend back in. I wonder if what we just did is actually possible in space, but I shake off the thought; practically nothing is impossible in Ninjago, even outside of the atmosphere.

"Space is no place for an earth ninja," I say as I grab his hand once he's close enough.

"Tell me about it," he agrees with a roll of his eyes.

"Come on guys, let's go!" Jay orders, and we all rush to get inside the spaceship.

——another timeskip (sorry—I'm lazy)——

"Owwww," I groan as I lift my head off the ground. The nindroids had just crash landed, and now we were all sprawled all over the rocky ground. The entire rocket had been destroyed, and pieces of it are scattered around everywhere.
