Lloyd's POV

"No. No. We can't be stranded here," y/n says while she paces back and forth. "We can't let them bring the golden weapons back to the overlord."

"Well, what are we supposed to do?" Kai says, shooting a ball of fire at a swarm of bugs. "We need a rocket to get off this planet, but we don't have one!"

"Wait..." y/n mutters, lifting her head. "We do have one!"

"Yeah, but in case you haven't noticed, it's completely broken!" Jay shouted.

"Not if we can fix it!" Y/n protests, running down to the site. "C'mon!"

"I'm with y/n," I say, running after her. "This might be our only option."

"I can download the blueprints of the rocket into my database," Zane suggests.

"Perfect!" Nya exclaims. "I could have sworn I saw a toolbox somewhere in the ship..."

Everybody got to work, looking for usable parts and tools. Over the next few hours we had an entire rocket built... it's just really, really tiny.

"Not bad, given what we were working with," Cole observes. "Do you think it'll fly?"

"It has to," y/n answers, and opens the door.

We all climb inside, and prepare ourselves for lift off. Nya's the most experienced with piloting, so she's at the control panel, while Zane is going to supply the rocket with energy from his unlimited power source.

"Hold still," y/n orders as she attaches a cord to Zane's heart. "This might hurt a bit."

Zane grunts painfully as y/n flicks a switch.

"Sorry, sorry!" She says, showing concern. "I really hope this works," she sighs.

"Ready for take off?" Nya asks.

Everyone nods nervously.

"Okay, commencing lift off procedures..."

I notice y/n's fearful expression, and I take her hand.

"It'll be okay," I assure her.

She sighs nervously. "I hope so."

"10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...we have lift off!"

—————time skip, y/n's POV———-

"Hold onto something!" Nya orders as the rocket falls towards the ground.

"What's that beeping sound?" Cole asks.

"It's Zane!" I say. "His heart is reaching critical mass!"

"It appears my unlimited power source is, in fact, limited!" Zane realizes.

"Just hang on, buddy," I say gently, holding onto his arm so he doesn't fall over.

Zane closes his eyes, and the expression on his face suggests that he's in a lot of pain. He rests his head against mine, and I wish I could take away all of his agony and feel it myself.

"Brace for impact!"

The shuttle hits the ground with a bang, and it flips over a few times. It finally comes to a stop just a few meters before crushing a parked car.

"We really should have installed seat belts," Lloyd mutters as we all dangle from the ceiling.

Using my foot, I unhook Zane from the energy cord so he can jump down. Once he's standing on the floor, I let go of what I was holding onto.
