Kirishima's POV

UA, the most sought after hero school in japan! I was let into the training course by some sort of magic, I'm really not trying to be pessimistic but,,, it had to be some sort of network error that I was able to be a part of such a prestigious school, having a quirk such as mine,  it's a wonder to get any sort of recognition...

Sophomore year has ended, and I passed the end of years with okay-ish grades. I can't help but feel a little proud of myself. I'm glad I've made it this far! I wouldn't have made it here without the help of my friends, I'm so grateful for them.

Besides the point, UA is holding another after year training camp! Kaminari, Sero and I never signed up for something so fast. We all agreed to bunk in the same cabin room together. Much to our surprise, once we arrived, we found that the rooms were way smaller than the previous year's cabins. Each room only holding two beds and a single bath.

"B r   o..." Kaminari started, looking at the small room. "Not even any bunk beds?? How are we supposed to build a fort???"

"I call window bed-" Sero started into the room.

"Du D e! No faiR I was complain in g!! You're not going to listen to your bro complain before picking beds??" The blond started after the other as I stood awkwardly at the door frame, watching the others unpack.

"Wow so you guys are just-"

"Bro." Kaminari looked at me with this plead in his eyes, almost tearing up. I understood, He's been pining after Sero for a good three months now. I like to think I'm quite the wingman,, haha.

I nodded understandingly, we stan an underdog that sacrifices bro time for his bromies. I walked away and asked our counselor, who's name I now know is Akira, if there's any empty cabins. They nodded and pointed to room number three.

"As much as I hate doing this to a nice kid like you, this is the only room with and available bed." They smiled worriedly. "The kid has an attitude problem, but he's nice... I think—" Akira spaced off before smiling and opening the door.

And behold. The individual I'd be sharing a month of my summer break was none other than Katsuki Bakugou!

Look, I don't have problem with Bakugou, I really don't! I'd like to think we're more than just acquaintances. The counselor was only half right about his attitude problem. He's come a long way from freshman year, but I can't help but fear he'll bite my head off when he discovers my lengthy morning routine.

"Bakugou!" I smiled wide and rushed into the room. "How are you?!" My nervous smile was more than pathetic looking.

He didn't respond for awhile until he turned around from his drawer and noticed me. His eyebrows furrowed before he angrily signed to the counselor.

Oh, right.

I completely forgot about the male's loss of hearing; That was my fault. There was an incident not even two months ago, during our super move training. Some rocks fell, there was only ringing in our ears. Needless to say, we spent a lot of time in the hospital.

   It's my fault.

We distanced a lot. I knew it was my fault Bakugou could potentially be withdrawn from UA. He was mad at me, I knew it. Everyone in the dorms could tell there was something wrong. I didn't talk to him. I knew that would make him more upset.

I'm praying this summer camp doesn't make us stray more.

Focusing my attention back to Akira and Bakugou, they were signing back and forth. My mother taught me a few signs. She works in teaching deaf people sign language. Convenient right? Thanks writer-kun.
