Bakugou's POV

I feel like crap, I don't know what happened at the pool and I really don't want to know. All I remember was hurriedly leaving the area then calming down while a certain redhead held me. It hurts my head to think about.

He smelt like chlorine and faintly of cheap cologne. He felt so warm and comforting, I'm still trying really hard not to think of it. But every time I space off, I feel ghostly fingers pressing careful circles into my back.

I bit the habit of smoking in eighth grade. I didn't want to go into high school smelling like cigarettes and depressive episodes. I hated the withdrawals, the feeling of having a substance controling me was embarrassing.

But I could really go for a smoke right now.

This is exactly why I haven't perused a relationship since elementary school.

"Never have I ever had a family pet." Todoroki was on a bundle of blankets between Kirishima's and my bed. Dumb hair insisted on playing this excruciating game.

Kirishima put a finger down. "I have a cat." He's smiling like an idiot. Wait, he has a cat?? He's literally never told me he had a cat, not once. Why is his home life so secretive??

"What breed?" Icyhot looks at the other. I had to put my hearing aids back in so I could hear the others better. It's helping a bit, but my headache is increasing.

"Uh, black? She lives in the barn with our sheep!" Wait, sheep???

"Hold on, you live on a freaking  f a r m ?" I'm trying not to yell in case the counselor catches on and busts us for smuggling Todoroki into out cabin.

"Yea?"

"Is that why you never invite me over?"

"No?"

I take a deep breath and drop the subject. It's stupid to want to know more about his personal life and how he apparently lives on a freaking farm with sheep and a black cat that I have literally never been informed of until now.

"My moms like the cottage aesthetic." He's still smiling happily, ugh. "Never have I ever got a one-hundred on a test." That was a dirty move. Both Todoroki and I put down a finger.

"You should try studying with Yaoyorozu rather than Bakugou." Todoroki suggests, what a jerk, there's nothing wrong with my teaching methods! Dumb hair is just... Dumb... hair.

"Pfft! No way I'll pass up study time with my bro."

The room goes quiet. Awkwardly quiet.

"Never have I ever, dyed my hair." The other two put down a finger. Todoroki has one finger remaining, Kirishima has three.

"Dude... not cool... Wait, you dyed your hair Todoroki?"

"Yea, April fools I switch the sides of my hair. No one noticed." I noticed. That's why I said it. It's called strategy baby.

I feel incredibly tired, I block out what the two are saying as they talk about hair dye. I take a risky glance at the lonely clock that resides by the door. It's one in the morning, I have not once ever stayed up this late.

"Tired?" Todoroki looks up at me. I don't reply, I think the already forming dark circles under my eyes can speak enough.

"We can go to bed." Kirshima offers a caring smile.
