Chapter Ten

It was around twelve o'clock at night and I was being escorted by Normani and Dinah into vampire territory. I could tell by the ugly looks on everybody's face that I was not welcomed here at all.

"Dinah Jane why have you brought a witch into our territory?" The queen asked.

Dinah sighs "she's here to help us with the rogues." She said. "Dinah Jane we don't need help from an evil witch!" The king spits. She nods "really so you can cast this spell right dad?" She asked harshly. The king huffs "no but I bet she can't either!" He bites as he glared at me.

I held back my chuckle. "Actually sir I can. I just need to be on your land to cast it. Once that's done I'm out." I told him. He sighs as he looks at me. "This is a pretty advance spell. No witch I have ever known could cast a spell this difficult. What's your deal?" He asked.

I shrugged "I have no deal sir. I'm just very good with magic." I told him. "If you're so good why can't you do the spell on your territory?" The king asked again. I sighed "it won't work because as far as I know Shawn has never been on my side of the oak tree before. He's been here, his DNA is here and that's what the spell needs in order to work. It needs to be casted somewhere the person used to call home." I explained.

The queen gave me a skeptical look but agreed to let me pass even though her husband didn't want me to. Bowing my head I walked passed them with Dinah and Normani right next to me.

"So any plans on getting Camila to come?" Normani asked.

Dinah sighed "honestly I'm not sure. I'm hoping that she comes on her own since Shawn wants the throne so bad." She said. Stepping outside I felt something. Something I couldn't quite put my finger on and that worried me. However before I could voice my concerns Dinah was attacked by something flying towards her.

My heart was in my throat as I watched Dinah fight Camila in her vampire form. The latter looked angry and possessed at the same time. I could tell that the part that wasn't controlled by Shawn wanted to stop it but she couldn't because of Shawn's hold. This now means something completely different. I can't just do the spell and send her on her way I have to do the spell and keep her here because if I don't something bad might happen and I don't think I could bring her or any of the others back from it. We need a new plan.

Knocking Camila off of her I held Dinah close as Camila hissed at us before flying away into the dark night. "Lauren I had her! Why did you stop me?" She cried desperately. I sighed "because there's more to this. Shawn may have control over her but he doesn't have all of her. So our plan to send her away after we get what we need is bad DJ!" I told her. "We need a new plan to keep her here when I cast it."

Dinah groaned "so now what? Now what do we do Lauren?" She asked. I held her hand "we need to come up with a plan to keep her here. I can cast a spell that won't let her leave and I'll do the spell then." I told her. "What about the other?" Normani asked. "Once the spell is casted he's powerless and we can end this whole thing." Dinah says. I nodded "let's do this."
