Last One

New Start

     'Faz' That is the only way to describe this car. The car with stained seats, delivering me to another family that want to try to care for me and get paid for it. Looking at the women that was driving I realized I did not know her name. I knew her for three years now and I referred to her as Ma'am or Miss. I turn my head to look out of the window at the passing trees. The leaves are starting to get tinted yellow, the chlorophyll of the plant going into hibernation in these cold months. The trees roll by and then slow as Miss slowed to turn left. We continue to ride down the road for a few miles then, I see a  sign of the town name "Hion". Hion is known as on of the most rich small towns that is in this state. The only reason I know of it is because the my old caretakers were in love with the place. The wife was born there, and wished she could move back. I woke up to the car pulling down this drive way, the drive way was about a mile long. But I did not care because the house was to die for.

When Miss stopped I thought that these people might be crazy. What rich people would want to care for someone that is not there child. Miss got out of the car and motioned for me to follow, so I got out the car started to walk to the front door. This young couple came out before we wretched to door. "Te tule engem"(You to meet me) She said to me. I stepped a step back because she knew my  language. "En kana Karpatii?"( I call to Karpatii?) I asked her needing to know I was not the last one. "Hello, Ma'am you Eve's language? We have been trying to find what language it is. Can you tell me what language it is?" Miss said. "No I'm afraid I can not tell you what language it is. Eve 'No te vii'(you last)" She said to us. My heart dropped even though I kinda knew this fact. I still did not want to accept it as truth. The world around had no idea that a species was going extinct. That when I died there would be no more Karpatii.

     Desari and Helion talked and filled out all the necessary paper work that it took to care for me. Also Miss would talk to them about the fact that I had horrible nighmares and was also a little mintal, because long ago I would ask them about the Karpatii. Desari came to me an hour latter when Miss was getting in her car. "Hey Eve, do you want me to show you to your room?" Desari asked. " OHH please can you." I responded.  Helion came in to the house with my luggage. Then they lead my to a fabulous room.

     They left me to get settled, then as I was laying on my bed I had the biggest erg to go find Desari. A little voice in my head said she was a key but I did not understand. I went to find Desari, I found her on the couch in the living room. "En Puwe!!!!" My mind made the connection before I realized I said it out loud. What what was an En Puwe. "So you found out what I am?" she asked. "What is an En Puwe? And I said it without realizing it." I said. " An En Puwe is the great tree as a person. Also Im the last on and I can unlock your memories and knowledge of your race." she said. "Okay what do I do" I said.

     Helion came in and lead us to an basement, the basement had a lot of stuff and an altar to the great tree.  Desari started to chant while Helion got a drink ready and then they made a circle around me. As they made there way to me, Desari cut her arm and let some blood drip into the beverage. Then Helion gave the drink to me. He signaled that I would have to drink it. And so I drank the beverage ...........I started to breath heavy and memories pored in to me , my mother singing a lullaby, rituals, and many others. What came last was how they all died. Black shapes were calling us monsters and burning people as they ran. The Karpatii burned fast and smelled like burn flesh. My mother made me drink something then my dad was burning..... My mother teleport  me away then they were gone. My vision slowly started to go black then I was out.
