Hello everyone! Thank you so much for checking out my book. I really mean it. Just wanted to let you know before reading that the art in the cover does NOT belong to me. Also, this is my first fan-fiction so there may be some grammar mistakes so I apologize in advance. Some more important information is that Adrien and Marinette do know there identities and are a couple. Without further or do, lets get on with the story.

Marinette's POV

The cold rain pitter-pattered on the roof top as I'm safe and warm underneath the cozy blankets in my room. It's a nice evening in the Fall. Just one of those days where all you want to do is hide underneath the covers, drink something warm like coffee, tea, or even hot chocolate, and maybe binge watch your favorite show on Netflix. I was doing just that with a nice cup of hot tea my mom prepared for me earlier. The dark clouds surrounded the sky and it appeared to be night time even though it was really only about four or five o'clock. I could hear the sound of rain get heavier as a soft roll of thunder echoed throughout the sky. I slowly closed my laptop and set it aside and did the same with my half empty cup of tea. Tikki opened her eyes at my sudden movements and rose from her spot on my lap. I uncovered the blankets from my body and climbed down the latter. The smell of freshly baked cookies circled the room coming from the bakery below. My bare feet made contact with the cold wooden floor as I approached my  bedroom window. As I glanced out the window, I could see the streets that were flooded with rain water. I stepped closer to get a better look and pressed my face and hands on the window. I continued to observe the city I grew up in. Suddenly, a face appeared in front of mine as my eyes widened. I screamed as I jumped back and I ended up falling on my butt. I could hear a soft chuckle as the figure opened the window.

"It's only me princess," a drenched Chat Noir said as he entered my room while closing the window behind him.

"Don't do that. You almost gave me a heart attack," I scolded as I put a shaky hand over my heart and took deep breaths. He continued to laugh as he approached me and reached out his hand, offering to help me get back onto feet.

"Sorry," he chuckled. I accepted his hand and once I was back on my feet, I walked to the bathroom to grab a towel. I handed it to him and he accepted it as he dried off his hair.

"So, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well, I was um...uh...I...was just bored. Why? Can I not see my girlfriend whenever I want?" he jokingly asked. A soft blush dusted my face. Even after these few months of dating, I still get nervous and stutter around him.

"No! You can or uh yeah well if you want or um," I stuttered as my face turned into a brighter shade of pink. A small chuckle escaped his lips as we both just awkwardly stood there. After about two minutes, he let out his transformation.

"Ugh, is there any cheese. I need Camembert," Plagg screeched as Adrien and Tikki rolled their eyes.

"I don't have any left Plagg. You already ate all of it," Adrien answered with an annoyed tone. Plagg grumbled as both of our kwamis went off and did their own thing. I sat down on my pink chaise as Adrien did the same. He set the towel on the floor and I could feel his arm wrap around my shoulders, bringing us closer together. I leaned my head on his shoulder as he put his head on top of mine. We stayed like that for a little while, enjoying each others presence. Adrien is my source of comfort in my stressful life. Being Ladybug gives me a huge amount of weight on my shoulders and school doesn't help at all. I'm currently in my junior year of high school and it's a lot of work. I can't really design that much anymore and it really makes me sad. I'm often hard on myself and lose hope that I'll ever accomplish my dream of becoming a fashion designer. Adrien has discovered this and he helps me a lot. Sometimes I get very stressed about assignments and other things, especially akumas, and I have come close to having panic attacks but he is always there to calm me down right before it happens. Light filled the room and a loud cracking sound pierced my ears. I jumped and a small whimper escaped my from my lips. Adrien tightened his grip on my shoulders and looked at me. "Are you okay," he asked. I hesitantly nod. I have always loved the rain and found it comforting but lightning scares the hell out of me. It's so loud and it can start fires. Adrien seemed to notice the slight fear in my eyes as both of his arms engulfed me into a hug. I hugged him back as his hands traced small circles on my back to ease my rapid heartbeat. His lips placed a kiss on my forehead as we cuddled. I gazed up into his emerald eyes as he gazed down into my bluebell eyes. I placed a small kiss on his lips as he rubbed our noses together. I smiled and slightly giggled as he did the same. I love moments like these. It just seems like the whole world disappears and we are the only ones who remain. We then shared a long passionate kiss filled with love as fireworks exploded in my heart. Little did we know, this would be one of our last.
