Marinette's POV

"Chat Noir?" I whispered as I sat up and reached to open the trapdoor. I hesitated. Why was he here anyway? Is he here to fight again or to apologize? He seemed to notice my pause.

"Marinette, please forgive. I'm really sorry. Can we talk, bugaboo?" he implored. My heart fluttered when he called me by one of my many nicknames. Tikki then flew in front of my face and nodded her head in agreement, so I opened the trapdoor. He immediately jumped onto my bed and embraced me. I was shocked and froze. Tears began to soak the hoodie I was wearing. Is he crying? I pulled away from the embrace to see heavy tears streaming down his face. My heart shattered into a million pieces. "I'm so sorry princess," he wept. "I don't know what came over me. I wasn't myself. I know you were trying to help me and I appreciate it. I shouldn't have yelled at you. I shouldn't have hurt you. I love you so much! Please forgive me," he begged. I gazed into his emerald eyes. The way he clung to my hand, pleading as if his life would never be the same without me made it clear that he was being sincere.

"I forgive you," I assured him with a small smile. I leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek and before I knew it, I was engulfed in a warm hug and was being smothered with kisses.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" he shouted happily.

"Shh, don't be so loud. Dad might hear you!" I giggled as I watched his silly behavior.

"Oops, we wouldn't want that now would we?" He smirked mischievously while looking at me.

"Stop it you naughty kitty," I whispered, trying hard to hide my blush.

"I have a surprise for you," he announced.

"Really?" I questioned.

"Come on," he remarked as he gently held my hand and led me onto the balcony, letting go just as we made it to the edge. I wrapped my arms around myself as I was greeted with cold air and light rain.

"You cold?" he asked.

"A little," I responded.

"It won't take long to get there. I promise. Here, close your eyes," he grinned.

"It won't take long to get where?" I questioned as I closed my eyes.

"You'll see," he answered. I felt him lift me off my feet in a bridal style way as he leaped through the air. He was right. It only took about a minute to get to the destination. He carefully put me down. Wet grass beneath me dampened my fuzzy socks. He grabbed my hand and led me somewhere with my eyes still closed. He suddenly let go of his grip and I was left standing there in silence as I heard small raindrops fall from the sky. "Alright, you can open your eyes now," he blurted shyly from a distance. I slowly opened my eyes. My heart warmed at the sight in front of me. We were at our cherry blossom tree! Fairy lights decorated the branches, lighting up the area. A large fluffy blanket was laid out beneath the tree. An abundance of pillows rested against the trunk and in front of them, a large, fluffy blanket was placed. A laptop laid in the middle of the blanket. It was so beautiful! I met Chat's eyes and noticed he was already looking into mine. "I want you to know how much I love you and how grateful I am to have you in my life. I'm so sorry for the way I treated you earlier today. I don't think I will ever be able to forgive myself," he indicated with sad eyes. I walked up to him and took his hand in mine.

"I know you didn't mean anything you said to me in the locker room. I forgive you. I love you so much, Adrien. Please never do something like that again. I hate fighting with you," I admitted.

"I promise I won't hurt you ever again!" he promised with a small peck on my cheek. "I swear, Cat's honor." I giggled. We approached the tree and got comfortable under the blanket. Adrien de transformed and opened the laptop to put on one of our favorite movies to watch together before snuggling under the blanket with me. I wrapped my arms around his waist and snuggled into him. "I love you," he stated.

"I love you too, my prince," I claimed. He chucked at his nickname. I yawned and pulled the blanket up to my chin.

"Are you tired?" he questioned.

"No," I specified before yawning again and closing my eyes.

"Get some sleep, princess," he implied with a smile.

"But I'm not tired," I protested.

"A princess needs her beauty sleep," he continued.

"I said I'm...not...tired...," I argued before drifting off into a peaceful sleep.

Third Person

Marinette awoke to her blaring alarm clock. She groaned and slammed her hand on to the snooze button before covering her ears with her pillow. She heard a soft chuckle beside her.

"Not today, princess," a warm voice commented. Before Marinette could react, the pillow was taken away from her. She groaned once again and hid underneath her blanket but it was ripped away from her.

"Five more minutes," she stressed while curling into a ball.

"Bugaboo, you have to get ready for school," the voice proclaimed again. Marinette cracked one eye open to see her boyfriend in front of her with her pillow and blanket in his arms, smiling.

"No! Five more minutes. Give it back," she argued.

"You'll have to come get them if you want them back," he teased as he climbed down her ladder that is attached to her bed.

"Adrien, please," she whined.

"Today is Friday. You'll get to sleep in as much as you like tomorrow if you get up right now," he explained.

"Right now?" she complained.

"Yes, right now," he chuckled.

"Fine," she grumbled as she got up and went to the bathroom. As Marinette was getting ready for the day, Adrien made her bed and packed her school bag for her. He had woken up early and gotten ready an hour before waking Marinette up.

Marinette was busy thinking about how cute her boyfriend was while brushing her teeth when Adrien's phone chimed. He searched his pocket and pulled out his smartphone to see a message from Nino that read:

"ADRIEN! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU, DUDE?"

Adrien widened his eyes. He had completely forgotten that he and Nino agreed to meet in the school library an hour before school started to finish their physics project. He sent a quick text to Nino to inform him that he was on his way and knocked on the bathroom door.

"Yes?" Marinette answered.

"I completely forgot that I promised to meet up with Nino to finish up our project. I have to go, but I'll see you there," he advised frantically.

"That's ok!" she responded, a little disappointed that she and Adrien couldn't walk to school together.

"I love you," Adrien bellowed as he climbed down her balcony carefully, trying to hide from Marinette's parents to avoid any suspicions. He sprinted to the school and barged through the library doors. He found Nino sitting at a table concentrating on the project.

"Sorry, Nino," he apologized breathlessly.

"It's alright, man. Now let's finish this thing!" he exclaimed.

Adrien and Nino finished their project twenty minutes before school started. They conversed in front of the school while waiting for Marinette and Alya to arrive to pass the time.

"Adrien!" Marinette exclaimed as she dashed towards Adrien with a giant grin.

"Marientte!" Adrien exclaimed as he opened his arms towards her. Marientte jumped into his awaiting arms as they shared a loving embrace, oblivious to the pair of aqua eyes observing them from a distance...
