Sophie Lightwood lay back in her old bed. Though Alec wanted to take her to the infirmary, everyone agreed she would be more comfortable in her own bed. Though the moving of her chest told them that she was alive, her pale skin made them worry -- until Finn pointed out that her skin always looked like snow.

Each had planned to ignore the mission that had been planned for them that night but when the Lightwoods received a passive-aggressive message from their mother they dragged Alec away from his wife, ordering someone to stay outside her room just in case.

Alec tapped his foot impatiently, his mission plan was to work fast and get back home. If his wife woke without him by his side it would sting his heart. He stood with his back facing the stream of people which involved the demon they were hunting. Finn, who was by his side, glared at his brothers bouncing leg, worried it might give it away as they both faced the fruit and veg stand.

The shapeshifter stopped behind them, glancing around. The form he stood in now was a small Asian businessman, but that didn't fool the shadowhunters. They glanced at the CCTV screen, checking their glamour was working. They both slowly looked around, their eyes not leaving the demon.

They both moved, gliding closer to the demon as he began making his way into a night club. When the businessman turned around, both brothers jumped, landing on the bridge above him. The man waved his off, turning back around and continuing his urged walk to the club.

Isabelle, who now wore a platinum wig and a long black trench coat, stood on another tall building, red high heels emphasising her height. With her parabatai alive, she felt stronger, healthier.

She turned around, kneeling down as she pulled out her stele and activated her rune. She then ran along the rooftop, continuing to follow the demon as it tried to leisurely walk down the street. The demon bumped into a man passing, taking his form -- a black bald man with a tracksuit wrapped around his body.

The demon passed under another bridge which Jace stood on, watching him also. The demon bumped into someone else, turning into them -- a white girl who had her black hair scraped into a high pony-tail and her body squished into a purple and black dress.

The four shadowhunters met on the bridge Jace stood on as they jumped down in unison, continuing their stalk on the demon, each desperate to get back as soon as possible. As they continued to walk in the shadow of the demon, Jace bumping into a redhead. Izzy, Alec and Finn didn't take any notice as they continued walking into the building.

However, Jace stopped when he heard the girl adress him, "Hey, can you watch where you're going?"

Jace scrunched his eyebrows as he stepped closer to her, trying to understand if she was talking to someone else, "You can see me?"
