We are told to smile.

'Smile for the camera!'

'Com'on, smile!'

But why?

Does smiling symbolize happiness?

Or is it just a cover?

People smile when they are sad,

Just so people don't ask questions.

People smile when they are angry,

Just to seem calm

People smile when they are tired,

To push away their feelings

Can you be sure that a smile is real?

Can you be sure that someone is truly happy?

Can you be sure about anything?

Anything at all?
