My eyes flutter open to a familiar room. Cody's. I feel heavy arms wrapped protectively around me and I turn to see Cody's adorable face sleeping next to me, our legs intertwined and his arms around my waist. He looked so cute, I didn't want to disturb him but, I can't stay in bed when I'm awake. I know right. I'm one of those people that once you're wide awake you can't stay and do nothing. I slowly unravel my legs from Cody's and take his arms of me, careful to not wake him.
I walk into the kitchen which was beautiful, it wasn't too large nor too small. "I guess some toast will have to do" I mutter. Toast reminds me of all the rushed mornings at home.

I grab my toast and sit at the table. What happened yesterday? I remember meeting his friends and I remember calling him alpha.. I chuckle at the thought. I had gotten to his wolf last night.
Once I finished my toast I walked back to the bedroom. Cody was gone. My eyes found a white piece of paper on the bed. I walk towards it and began to read the scribbly writing.

I have gone to see how the wolves on the boarder are doing and seeing if they have sighted any rogues or hunters. I'll be back soon, we will be going to a party later so be ready by 6.
Love you
Cody.

I check the time. 3:00 I still have three hours. I decide to explore the house a little bit before getting ready. I continued walking down the corridor. I had passed multiple bathrooms and spare rooms and a few sitting rooms and Cody's office. At the end of the hall there was a games room. There was a table, a wide tv and many fun activities to do. On the wall was a flashing clock, 5:00.

Wait. 5:00

I run back to the bedroom and look through my clothes. I only have an hour to be ready for whatever Cody is planning. I pick out a white dress that comes just above my knees and has a nice white lace pattern all around it. I pick out some white flats to go with it. I grab my hair and curl it before putting it in a messy bun, leaving a few strands dangling at the sides. I add some clear lipgloss and some mascara and turn to the mirror.
I actually liked what I was wearing. I don't normally wear dresses or get dressed up but, I loved it. This time I had a reason to look good. Cody.
