Nikhil exhaled through his lips, for she was really testing him. He dug his hand in his pocket to grab the keys and pressed the button twice to unlock the car. Her face relaxed, as if she was relieved over it, and pulled at the door handle again and slipped inside the car. He walked around a few seconds later. After igniting the engine, he blasted the heat to warm up the car as well as clear the front and back windows.
While that happened, they sat in silence.
Until she broke it. "I did enjoy dinner, so... thank you for making it easy ."
"Yeah. So did I." He answered with a smile.
"Hey, is that how far back the seat goes?" She asked, making him look at her confused. They were talking about having a nice time, and suddenly, she was asking about car seats. For him, that was definitely a matter to be concerned about.
He answered, unsure if she was alright. "Uh, I think?"
"Oh well." She muttered, before she had put her knee up on the seat and turned. Hopping up, she swung her leg over till she was seated on his lap. Well, quite pressed to him for there wasn't much space between him and the steering wheel behind.
He'd been stunned at the sudden change in positions that he stared at her for a few seconds. He then cleared his throat, trying his level best to not put his hands on her side, or lean up and have his way. "You realize you're not helping your case?" He voiced after, already feeling the strain of having her pressed against him.
Her hands rested on his shoulder as she looked at his face in close intimacy, "I know, and I don't really care of it."
Her reply had again taken him aback, for just a few minutes ago, she had told him to stop. "I don't understand you, but... um, please move so I can get you home."
Since he wasn't looking directly at her, or rather, forcing himself not to look at her with her face merely inches away from his, she slid one of her hand up his shoulder to rest on his neck, and her thumb over his jaw line.
"Hey," She softly whispered, and that itself was his undoing. He couldn't not look at her anymore. "I know you the won the challenge and I keep my word." She had just been cold outside, so she wanted to get inside first. She had no intention of saying no to him a few minutes ago, otherwise. "So, tell me... what do you want?"
He let out a shaky breath, with his heart going off on a rampage. Why she was prolonging this, he couldn't understand. He knew that she knew what he wanted. Thus, he said it. "You know what."
"I don't." She answered, gulping.
This time, he saw no reason to keep his hand off her. He placed them at her either sides, gently pressing her closer to him if it were even possible. The sudden rise of her chest was evidence of the hitch in her throat and breathing. While walking back, she had felt his arousal. She knew it had affected him again when she'd sat on him, but this was new to her. She may have been vocal to talking of things openly, but she had never experienced this before while in her presence of mind.
His right hand traveled down to her hip before resting on her thigh while his left made his way to her neck, bringing her face closer till her forehead rested against his. He whispered, lips dangerously close to hers. "There's only so much a man can take, Mishti. Don't tempt me anymore."
"I..." She closed her eyes, letting the sensation seep in. She wanted to tell him that it hadn't been her intention. She knew it'd tease him, but she didn't mean much to it. She couldn't bring herself, or rather her voice, to speak.
She could only gasp for a breath. They'd done much before, but this still held power over her, for this, she knew she would remember. She opened her eyes to look into his. His control was fading. He was really trying, for he didn't want to do something to jeopardize it, to scare her off. It just wasn't as easy.
