I froze.
Where did they get this information from?
~
"Kurasshu-kun already told us about you guys so why don't you just admit it!?"

I looked over at the boy at the front, whispering into another guy's ear.
"Y-you...from...h-him?" I was still beyond embarrassed, but now, I was fuming.
My fists clenched as I looked up at the girls coldly.
"Are you that stupid to believe everything that dipshit says?" I growled.
~
My eyes seemed to steam up and my hands began to shake. At once I realised that I was crying. And there was nothing I could do to stop myself.
The thought of the rumour reaching everyone in the school petrified me. Kurasshu must have had the time to tell people it before class, and if he did in fact do so...well I couldn't ever recover from it. What if I got expelled!? What's worse, they've dragged Shinsou into this. What if he gets expelled? I choked back a sob.
~
She looked over to me, with a face full of delicacy and defeat, but also apology. I held my arm out, and she let out a squeaky sob before running over to me and gripping my shirt.
"I'm s-sorry." She cried bitterly.
My heart ached again. I placed an arm around her shaky shoulders and stroked her hair. We just stood like that for a while. She shakily inhaled before breathing out and calming down.
"Shinsou." She stepped away and looked at me.
I was scared of what she'd say next.
She wiped her eyes, before walking to the door.
"I can't talk to you anymore."
And with that, she ran out of the door, heels tapping on the floors as she left me in the classroom, just staring after her as thousands of words rushed to my head.
Please don't go.
I need you.
Please.
Don't leave me.
But I stayed silent.

Shinsou's POV
(The next day)
Nezu asked me to talk to him.
Shoving my hands in my pockets, I stalked over to his office. Before I knocked on the door, he opened it and ushered me inside.
"Just put your bag by the door and have a seat." He smiled.
I discarded my bag and sat across from him on a sofa.
"So just tell me what happened." He said calmly.
I told him about helping her carry the books into the classroom, and then how the group of boys followed her around the back of the school, she didn't injure them on purpose, and that I helped her by telling the last one to go inside.
He nodded and asked about what happened after that.
"She was injured, as I can tell by her bandages and such." He said.
"Yes, I helped her clean her cuts up. She had some underneath her shirt so I turned around out of respect so she could clean them."
Nezu wrote this down.
"Whatever the others said that doesn't go hand-in-hand with what I just said is a lie." I gritted my teeth slightly.
"I think so too, but we still have to ask Y/N, have you spoken to her today?"
I haven't spoken to her since yesterday, so I shook my head.
"Thankyou for this Hitoshi, but can you just answer one more question for me?"
I nodded.
"Did the other boys say anything offensive in the classroom about this? Like a rumour or something?"
My breath hitched.
Nezu sighed.
"I'm taking that as a yes."
I breathed out, irritated.
This was bad enough, and now Nezu knows about it.
"Okay, Thankyou for your time, you may head to class now."
I got up and walked to the door, but before I picked my bag up, I looked over to him.
"None of this was Y/N's fault." I said, before grabbing my bag and exiting the office.
I was so pissed at the group of guys. I was angry at everything, I was in one of those moods where everything annoyed me, but I was sure that there was something else bothering me deep down.
~
I sat down at my desk and put my head in my hands. I answered to my name in the register, but barely paid attention to the board. I came back to my senses when the door was opened.
"Could I borrow Y/N L/N please?" Nezu popped his head into the classroom.
I looked up and watched her walk out, all my anger leaving for a second when she was near, but it immediately washed over me again when she left. I figured out what was annoying me all day, it was the fact that I wasn't speaking to her anymore.
But I couldn't speak to her.
She wouldn't see me.

After class, I walked over to her, but she just ran away.
Everything just felt twisted.
Wrong.
Without having her delicate smile in my life, everything just felt dull.
~
The days passed by, and we didn't speak once. I was more miserable than ever.
I tried countless times to talk to her, but she just pushed me away.
Nights were hard aswell. I got even less sleep in, and didn't study as much.
I couldn't get her off my mind.
My dorm room felt heavy, as the walls seemed to close in on me, making me feel even more alone than ever.
I just needed to speak to her.
To hear her voice.
This particular evening, my head was killing me.
I groaned in pain.
Grumbling, I stood up from my desk and went to my door. I looked at my alarm clock.
11:30.
No one in their right mind would be awake, but I wasn't in my right mind, so I walked over to the dorm's kitchen to get a pain killer and a glass of water.
I looked and felt like a mess.
As I walked down the hall, my head pounding, I saw that the light was already turned on, which meant that someone was in fact awake.
"I don't need this." I whispered, but my headache thought otherwise as it began to torture me further.
"Fuck it."
Walking into the kitchen, I saw that someone was sat at the table, their hair covering their face as they buried their head in their arms.
Her big circle glasses were in one of her limp hands.
"Y/N..?" I whispered.
