Lizley was carried by Finn because she wasn't able to walk.
It was one thing to be kidnapped and brought away but another to be betrayed by the own father. She was collapsing because she felt so alone in the world. Because she realized that she had no one who was there for her no matter what. None of them generously loved her.
Til dawn she has been laying in her bed with her puffy eyes staring into nowhere. And her mind drifted off to princesses and vampire just to everything that would keep her out of the real world. And them when night came she got changed and tried crying herself to sleep eventually. But it didn't worked she just got more upset because her pain slowly turned into anger.
She found herself back in the kitchen in the end. The clock over the fireplace told two. Two in the morning. Her feet carried her back up the stairs as she avoided the third step from the top because she already figured out that it made noises. Like a ninja she opened Finn's door because he was the only one in the house. She took his coat silently and his peaky cap. Every of her moves was completely soundless. She wrapped herself in the coat and hit her hair under the cap because she knew that all the Peaky Blinders had something like royal right in Small Heath. Like they were the bloody Tudors.
As she opened the door it felt like she was on snow. Her heart was racing as her pupils opened at the missing of light. The only source of light was the bright moon and the star that dipped everything in a blue light. The wind made her feel alive and shiver violently at the same time. Her feet seemed to freeze to ice immediately as she walked on the cold pavement. Then she switched to the rocky street coloring her feet black like coal. The peddles were pointy but felt so good.
She loved that just like she loved swimming naked or sleeping without clothes. It made her feel alive. Somehow it gave her the connection to the ground back when she was to caught up in her daddies business. Her future business. She knew that her dad was sick and that it got worse every day that passed.
Sometimes her mother appears back in her dreams. The way she looked when she died. It still haunted her mind. It was the spanish flu that took her away.
Liz has moved to her aunt when her mother had fallen sick but that woman wasn't able to take care after her. So Liz was alone in a huge strange mansion in Sussex without a gun. After two weeks with her strict aunt Prissy ,the woman took her to her home and showed the little girl her dead mother through the window of the house she grew up. And again she cried her little blue eyes out.
But it got worse when her aunt made her go to the city. She immediately hated it. She slept in hay and ran on the beach every morning not be trapped behind those huge white walls. People seemed so angry but sad at once.
Then she had that weird man standing like a lost goat on the train station to pick her up. And his language made her wanna run away.
But soon she realized that he was the best that ever happened to her. He gave her enough freedom for her to keep her spirit and keep herself sane.
And still he also left her now. It felt like she was a ugly doll that was handed from person to person. Eventually the Shelby's would pass her on if they had to.
A scream from afar made her snap out of her trance. She remembered her mission. Everything she wanted was to go away. Not even to London just away from Birmingham because she was forced to be there and that pissed her off inside. The stony road actually evolved into a muddy way through the factories. But she knew how to get to the train station. She thought so and she was pretty sure.
Her hands slipped into the strange coat pockets. The cold of something made of steel made her shiver as she reached it. But it turned out that it was just a pair of cigarettes. She took one and lit it with a match bringing for short light in her sight. In the over pocket was cocaine and money. Enough money probably.
"How much do you take per hour?" A man suddenly said as he crossed her on a horse. She just signed and continued walking. "Where are you heading love?" He said as he turned his horse just as Liz tugged the stolen coat tighter around herself.
"The train station" She just mumbled as she continued trusting through the mud.
"Aye you're on a good way just turn right before you see a big clock on the steel factory. What are you doing at this time? Running away?" He said in a low voice as Liz knew that a smirk danced on his lips. That he just asked if she was a whore he was now quite nice since Liz seriously thought she was lost because everything looked the same.
"Running away yes. From my life, my curse, Tommy Shelby" Her voice was as bitter as the truth as she spoke.
"Then I never saw you love. No one wants to mess with the peaky blinders. Good luck" A small weird smile danced on Lizley's lips as she thought about the conversation. Maybe people were not bad at all. The train station was luckily bright as she went there. In one of the lighted windows sat a fat sleepy man that locked at her with disbelief as she stood there.
"When is the next train coming?" She said politely with her beautiful, real smile as she was happy to be free and do her thing.
"At four. Going to Glasgow" He mumbled obviously annoyed from her presence so he couldn't continue his nap.
"Nothing early?" She asked with a sweet frown on her forehead as she grew a little desperate. The change that someone realized that she was gone was higher the longer she stayed.
"Just me lassie" Someone appeared from behind. A man, obviously a gypsy or something like that maybe just a poor trader. I'm going to Newcastle in less than half an hour"
"Great actually" She said as her hands slipped in her coat pockets looking for a knife or a gun. For sure she forgot about the razor blades in her cap.
"But you'll have to pay" He cupped her cheek making her jump back on her naked feet right into a broken bottle making her scream.
"Get off me" She whimpered as she found herself back on the dirty floor bleeding as the man sat on her lap as she just tried to get him off even if she couldn't run anyway. "Please" She almost gave up as he started creeping under her skirt with his hands.
"Get off her" Someone suddenly snapped loud and really angry making Liz stop her tears for a second out of fear. She was helpless and everything she could feel was fear.
