When she sleeps, she opens the door
to feel your soul, to see you soarSince you left this world
she's not been the same girl
Instead, she's broken down and poorAll she can think of is how she hit the ice cold floor
when she realized the life in your eyes was no moreThree years passed now
You're still the one she looks for
Three years passed now
and she still hurts to her coreAnd still when she sleeps, she opens the door
To touch your soul, to watch you soarAround this time every year
with falling leaves and brisk autumn air
She chants to you:"One day, I'll leave this world
I'll open the door
Our souls will find each other
And I won't have to look for you anymore
And with life and light in our eyes
Together we'll soar and soar and soar"09/22/2019
