Chapter 2: 'Stealing Chocolate'

My eyes went wide when I realized my mate is the ruthless Alpha of the world and dare I say it he was a monster.

'Our mate isn't a monster', Snow snarled at me.
.
I was broken from my thoughts when Sarina waved her hand in front of my face.
.
"Hey the light just turned green", she said with worried in her voice.
.
"Oh", was my smart response.
.
I started to drive and I looked over to see Melody have this shocked look on her face. I gave her a questioning look and she gave me 'I will tell you later look'. I nodded my head and focused my eyes back on the road.
.
"So babe", Sarina said dramatically. "Am I going to be alone all day or you guys going to hang out with awesome me?"
.
"We obviously have no one else to hang out with so....", I said.
.
She hit my arm and I laughed along with Melody. After that everything went into a comfortable silence.
.
5 minutes later we arrived at school to see everyone looking at us curiously. Of course Melody dramatically got out of the car. She stepped out and flipped her hair and sent flirty smiles at some at the guys.
.
I rolled my eyes and I hopped out and some started to wolf whistle at me. I ignored them and open the door for Sarina. She slowly got out and everyone stopped what they were doing feeling the power of being Luna radiating off of her.
.
There was a revved of an engine which seemed knocked everyone out if their trances. We all looked over to see the very same 1969 SS Mustang from earlier.
.
Like slow motion Ryder hopped out first and the air was knocked out of me. His 6'7 frame stood tall and proud. He had a black fitted v-neck and I swear you could see his 8 pack. He had black jeans that were dangerously low but in a sexy way on along with some combat boots, his muscles flexing as he grabbed his bag.
.
"Mate", I heard Melody faintly say.
.
I looked at her to see her stating at someone. I looked over to see right beside Ryder was Beta Liam. He had black brownish shaggy hair, with Amber eyes. He wore a white v- neck that showed his muscles with some regular jeans along with some vans.
.
I had to smile at this sight of Melody finally finding her mate.
.
Then a fake blond bimbo launched her scummy hands on Ryder's arm. She had her boobs presses against him like they were fixing to fall off. I had to calm my wolf down before she shredded this girl apart.
.
"Hey baby", she purred but it sounded like a dead cat.
.
"Get your hands off of me", Ryder said power leaking from his voice.
.
"But baby I thought we were going to have fun later", she whined.
.
I sucked in a sharp breath in when she said that. I didn't stay to watch what happen next. But I could feel someone's eyes burning holes into my back and I instantly knew it was Ryder. I felt Melody and Serina following me closely behind.
.
We quickly made it to the office to see a red headed woman typing full speed ahead. I coughed and she looked up with warm brown eyes.
.
"Hey girls how may I help you", she asked.
.
"We're new here and we need our schedules", I said politely.
.
"Oh of course".
.
She went to the back of the room and came back with our schedules and maps.
.
"Here you go dears have a good day at Western Bay School!" she said as we left. (I don't know if that is a school there, I just made one up).
.
"We will", Melody and Serina said at the same time.
.
They looked at each other and laughed. I rolled my eyes and quickly found my locker.
.
I leaned against my locker to look at my schedule.

Lunch
History

'Wow I like these classes', I thought to myself.
.
I felt my paper getting ripped out of my hands to see Melody and Serina comparing it to their schedules. Really.
.
"Ok", Melody started. "We have 1st, 3rd,lunch, and history that's all".
.
I nodded my head. Happy that I got some classes with my best friend.
.
I found out that me and Serina have 2nd, 4th, lunch, and history together. Yay.
.
The bell rung and Serina said bye and was guided by one of our pack members to her class. Melody and I found our class verily easy right when we step in the classroom the bell rung.
.
"Ok class we got so-" the teacher I think her name was Mrs. Alexa was cut off by someone walking in. The room went deathly silent knowing who it was. He shuffled past me his arm brushing mine sending tingles up my arm.
.
No one said anything afraid that he might lash out.
.
Eventually Mrs. Alexa spoke again, "Back to what I was saying we have two new students along with their pack, would you mind telling us your name and what's your rank" she said politely.
.
I went first knowing Melody didn't want to.
.
"My name is Laila Glass and my rank is the best fighter of the pack basically right beside my Alpha", I said.

"So your on the front lines you would say in fighting when there is an attack?" Mrs. Alexa said.
.
Before I could respond a low growl stopped me from doing so. I looked over
At Ryder to see his dark blue eyes have turned pitch black and him gripping the table so hard. Suprised it hasn't broken yet.

"Is everything alright Alpha Ryder?" our teacher asked politely.
.
"Everything is fine", he said through gritted teeth.
.
Just his voice alone made me weak in the knees.
.
Ok no more questions for him.
.
I nodded my head to her question.
.
After that episode Melody went on about her name and she is the protector of the woman and children.
.
After that we sat down by the seats closest to the windows.
.
Mrs. Alexa kept going on about rules and stuff that I already knew and so I zoned out thinking about what am I going to do with my mate. Knowing he was staring at me.

It went throughout the whole day the same thing. And guess what Ryder is all in my classes so far. Right now we are are at lunch.

"Yay food time", I moaned as I pulled out my flaming hot Cheetos.
.
"You chose the perfect food for lunch didn't you", Melody sarcastically said.

I nodded my head my mouth full of Cheetos.
.
Hunter showed up and gave Serina a kiss on the cheek and talking about what happen so far today.
.
Really bro I'm feeling the love.
.
Out of no where a girl with brown headed hair sat down with us.
.
"Hey guys my name is Maria", she said happily.
.
"Mine is Laila, that's Melody, and Hunter and Serina" I pointed to each person.
.
She nodded her head in respect and quickly turned into a hard face.

"Ok I'm your new friend but if you steal my chocolate I will hurt you", she threaten.
.
I put my hands up in surrender in said, "Don't look at me I'm not in this".

She nodded her head and started to talk to Melody. While she was distracted I slowly took her chocolate away from her bag.
.
I stuffed into my pocket right when she was grabbing for her chocolate.
.
"Ok who took the chocolate and no one dies", Maria said menacing.
.
I was holding pack my laughter but failed miserly. She glared at me and I took off running outside.
.
"Laila get the fuck back here", she yelled.
.
I laughed and wasn't paying attention when I ran into someone.
.
"Oh I'm sor-" I stopped when I saw it was Ryder.
.
Oh no I'm dead.
.
