Laila's POV
.
I ran behind Ryder hot on his trail. I could tell that he was being slow because of me.
.
I huffed and picked up the pace when I saw the pack house. I instantly saw Hunter's giant blonde wolf.
.
I then jumped on a rogue that was fixing to attack Melody. I instantly snapped the rogue's neck.
.
Melody nodded her head in thanks.
.
I was fixing to jump into the battle when a big black wolf jumped in front of me. Ryder.
.
'Go into safety', he said through our mind link.
.
'No I'm going to help the others', I said fiercely cutting off the mind link.
.
I saw another rogue take out another rogue that was fixing to attack a fellow pack member.
.
I snarled at the she wolf and she bowed her head in submission.
.
I stood up straighter and looked at her questionably. We were the only other two wolves not fighting and there was chaos around us. I saw Ryder taking down like 5 or more rogues down at a time.
.
I looked at the she wolf and notice she has gotten closer to me. I lunged over her to see a rogue trying to attack her.
.
I walked up to the girl and she hung her head.
.
"LAILA GET AWAY FROM HER", Ryder yelled.
.
I shifted back when I felt clothing going over my body before anyone could see.
.
"Fetch me some clothes for this girl", I order one of the pack members.
.
They shuffled off when I felt getting pulled into a hard chest.
.
Ryder growled possessively and pulled me behind him. The she wolf whimper and showed her neck in submission.
.
I saw one of the pack members have clothes and they threw them at me and I came back from behind Ryder before he grab me.
.
I kneeled in front of the girl and said softly to the girl,"Shift".
.
The familiar sound of popping of bones sounded where once stood a wolf showed a browned hair girl that looked like she was only 16 years old. I slipped the oversized shirt over the girl's shivering body.
.
"Hi my name is Laila", I said to her.
.
"My name is Macy", she whispered softly.
.
I smiled brightly and helped her up slowly.
.
Ryder was on guard with an emotionless expression along with everyone else.
.
Macy kept her head down and held onto my left hand's pinkie. I took ahold of her whole hand and gave it a squeeze.
.
"So Macy", I started for everyone to hear. "What you doing with a rogue pack?"
.
She bit her lip and said quietly enough for only me to hear,"I was taken".
.
I gasped and held the fragile girl and waved everyone off but Melody, Liam, and Ryder stayed. Of course.
.
Everyone went inside the house while Hunter helped Serina up the steps because of huge belly.
.
"What was your pack's name?" I questioned the small girl.
.
"The Glacier pack", Macy said.
.
"But that is all the way in Greenland".
.
She nodded her head.
.
"Do you mind telling us what happen?" Melody said not wanting to scare the girl.
.
I gave pointed looks to Ryder and Liam not to harm or scare the girl.
.
"My pack was out on the run to visit a neighboring pack since they needed helped with training their pack", Macy started a few tears coming slowly out of her eyes. "When we were attacked. It happen all so quick that no one didn't have time to prepare. Half of us died just died like that before we could blink an eye. I was the only survivor left and they took me.
.
"They shipped me off to different rogue packs and was even stuck in most dangerous one of all. Hellfire."
.
I froze and my face went pale. Melody's eyes went wide and she started to shake.
.
"Finally I ended up here", Macy finished.
.
I couldn't move or even speak. Memories flashed back so quickly when she was taken from them at a young age, even Melody was taken.
.
Hellfire.
.
The worst rogue pack to even live. They will beat you, starve you, and even torture you.
.
The memories of getting beaten made me stay frozen.
.
I came to my senses when someone called my name.
.
"Laila are you ok", Ryder said with an emotionless mask.
.
I nodded weakly and took Macy inside the house letting the memories flood back to me.
.
Hey guys!!!!!!!! How is going???? I bet your wondering who the Hellfire pack is and the connection to Laila???
.
Well you will find out soon enough!!! I bet your probably screaming at your phone or computer wanting me to tell. I'm not going to tell until later.
