Laila's POV

I stood there self conscious with Ryder skimming my body shamelessly. I was probably blushing from head to toe. Oh god! Stop already.
.
Before I could react he pinned me against the wall and smashed his lips against mine. It took me a second to realize what just happen. He moved his lips against mine while I stayed frozen. His hand ran up my arms leaving tingles there. I started to move my lips against him feeling him smirk against my lips. My other hand gripped the back of his hair pulling him closer to me. He groaned.

I finally came to senses and used my Alpha strength and pushed him off of me. He took a few steps and he was breathing
raggedy and his eyes still held lust in them.
.
"No", I said after I regained my breath.
.
"No?"
.
"Yes, no, I'm am not someone's play toy", I said.
.
"You think I'm using you", he said angrily.
.
"Yes let me guess I'm just your pass off"
.
He clenched his fist.
.
"I'm not yours", I said while glaring at him.
.
Your mine and only mine", he said angrily. "Do you understand me, no one will have you", he breathed in deeply trying to contain his wolf.
.
"I'm not anyone's property", I said with a smirk. "If you want me your going to have to fight for me", with that said I ran off.
.
I quickly ran to Melody's room. And slammed the door. I sighed and relief. I saw Melody looking at me crazily.
.
"Can I borrow some of your clothes, please", I said desperately.
.
She nodded her head quickly. I grabbed a gray t-shirt, a hoodie, and white skinny jeans. I quickly ran into her bathroom and changed into her clothes.
.
I walked out and collapsed onto her bed.
.
"What happen?" She asked.
.
I explain the story and at the very end she was wide eyed.
.
"Holy shit, you said that to him!" She exclaimed.
.
"Yes", I said feeling kinda bad. Not feeling kinda bad, I do feel bad.
.
"Why would you say th-" she stopped when she realized something.
.
"Are you afraid that he is going to disappear from your life?" She asked.
.
I answered nothing I just stared out the window with a sad expression.
.
"Oh honey he is your mate he was made for you".
.
"I know he is my mate and stuff it's just I'm afraid he is just going to use me as a play toy", I said ashamed.
.
She hugged me and I hugged her back tightly glad that I had a friend.
.
"Oh what am I going to do?" I asked.
.
"Idk sweetheart I just don't know".

"No your my bitch", I said to Melody.
.
"No your my bitch", she said back to me.
.
"How about this your both of my bitches", my mom said as she walked out of the kitchen.
.
After the episode upstairs we came downstairs and we been at this for about 5 minutes.
.
"Excuse me", I said.
.
"You heard me", she said.
.
I laughed and rolled my eyes.
.
We all went outside and saw Stacy, the slut, up against Ryder and him pushing her off of him.
.
'That slut better get her filthy hands off my mate', Snow snarled.
.
She start to push her way through and wanted to tell Stacy off but I wouldn't let her.
.
"Hey Laila can you get Alpha Hunter for me", Emma asked the 5 year old girl.
.
With my name being said Ryder's snapped his gaze at me.
.
I smiled and nodded my head.
.
"Hey guys can I see your ball", I asked the group of boys playing catch.
.
One of them nodded their head and tossed it to me. I looked at the top window and aimed and threw the ball at the window shattering it.
.
I busted out laughing and quickly looked away and acted like I didn't do it.
.
"Who in the hell threw it!", He yelled his Alpha voice coming out.
.
I was trying not to smile, but failed miserly and fell to the ground with tears running down my face.
.
"Sis really!?"
.
I faced him seeing him standing behind me.
.
"Well Emma wanted to play with you", I said innocently.
.
"Well you didn't have to throw a ball at the window trying to get my attention!" He exclaimed.
.
Then we heard someone crying. We looked over to see Emma crying. I was fixing to say something before I saw Ryder walk over and pick her up.
.
"Why you crying sweetie?" He asked.
.
"Well Hunty is getting mad because I wanted him to play with me", her tears soaking some of his shirt.
.
"How about this", I said her attention coming to me. I walked up to her with her still in Ryder's arms and whispered in her ear,"We can dress him up as a girl".
.
Her eyes lit up as a Christmas tree. She jumped out if arms and ran up to Hunter
.
"I want to dress you up as a girl!" She exclaimed.
.
He started to protest but she silenced him with the snap of her fingers and led him inside.
.
Everyone went back to their conversation and Ryder and I stand next to each other.
.
"Can we take a walk?" He asked suddenly.
.
I but my lip not sure but nodded my head anyways.
.
He grabbed my hand and led me into the forest. He guided me to where a small pond was at and sat down dragging me with him which I landed in his lap.
.
I blushed and sat there watching the water slowly move.
.
Finally he said,"Why do you think I'm going to use you?"
.
I sucked in a breath and hung my head ashamed. "Well I'm just afraid that your just going to use me and just kick me to the curb".
.
He stayed silent letting me continue.
.
"I heard so many stories about you being ruthless and cold hearted and I just watched you pick up a little girl and ask her what's wrong", I said. "Then your a player", I added.
.
He let out a cold hearted chuckle and said,"I don't sleep with women and toss them aside, yes I have slept with girls before but I don't toss then aside as if they were trash".
.
"I knew from the start you wouldn't wait for your mate and stuff since Alpha's have stronger hormones then a regular wolf".
.
He started to make patterns on my lower back.
.
"Yet there is one thing I am afraid of though", I started. "I said what I did earlier because I figure your just going to disappear from my life just like everyone else", I said with a shaky breath.
.
His answer was him turning me around and hugging me. I just melted right then and there and hugged him closer to me if that was possible.
.
We sat there for a very long time when he said,"I will fight for you even if it takes forever".
.
Right then I just let out a content sigh.
.
