"That is very gross, what made you do it the nightcrawler?" I scoffed.
"The what? I don't know what you're talking about, but there's a monster somewhere out there that started to disrupt my peaceful nights with games that usually leave someone hurt or dead or me hurt..." He waved his hand. "It goes, can you be my puppet?!" He said in a mocking voice before crossing his eyes and slamming his hand on the table.
I couldn't help but to smile at how ridiculous he was acting. Then he went back to normal, "and after it makes me do some wierd shit it leaves me where the crime was committed and goes, I had fun!" He folded his arms.
"It's called the nightcrawler you dope" I informed him.
"I'm here too and my best friend Landon is upstairs because of it as well, he used to be across from me but he's too old to be on my floor" I shrugged.
"So what's your name again?" I laughed.
"Jacob," He looked off into the distance. "And you?" He looked back at me.
"Iris," I felt my cheeks heat up. What the hell is going on?! I covered my cheeks and tried to play it cool.
"How do I escape my room and see if I can maybe find a really convenient room where they have a big file that says top secret in big red letters with one single light shining on it," He smirked.
"Interesting," the man I haven't seen in a while smiled, it was the outside man. The very important looking man that was yelling at everybody. "I'm Holmer, now what are you two kids talking about?" He grinned.
"Our master plan to le-" I looked at Jacob who looked at me.
"Yes yes?" He went on. "To leave?" He asked.
"To learn more things about our sickness' we both have schizophrenia," I nodded.
"Oh well, I can tell you both what it is," He straightened out his silver and dark blue tie. "It's a mental disorder characterized by abnormal behavior, strange speech, and a decreased ability to understand reality." He nodded the big creepy smile still plastered on his face.
Was I supposed to understand what he just said? His face looked like it hurt for how hard he was smiling. It made me uncomfortable. He had an ugly haircut and a few deep wrinkles on his face. He looked like a greedy business man. He had deep blue eyes that looked very very mean.
I sighed and looked around the room.
"Alrighty then, never forget we're always keeping an eye on you guys," He winked. Ew. Was that supposed to be a joke? He turned and walked away from us.
"You talk too much Jacob!" I whisper-shouted.
"Ok ok ok, you're right. I'm sorry for talking to the man-" I waved my hand at him.
"I don't have a good feeling about this Holmer guy. Whoever he is..." I trailed off looking in his direction.
"He's obviously the big mr. Boss Man. Can't you see how everybody reacts when he talks?" Jacob said as he looked at me. I shrugged, "sure-" I rolled my eyes, just then Holmer started yelling at a doctor who bowed.
"Sorry sir," before shuffling away. "I'm your boss you don't respond you just do as told!" He shouted after the doctor. I avoided eye-contact with Jacob who stared at me.
"Ok so he isn't the boss?" He smirked.
"He is, he's onto us though, if you keep on talking to people-" He furrowed his eyebrows cutting me off, "that was just once! You don't even know me!" He leaned closer to me.
"Relax," I stuffed my mouth with food that started to taste good after a long while.
"Iris there is something not right. I've been thinking and thinking. I mean how can it be a mental illness if we both see the exact same thing and it physically hurts us?" He asked opening his eyes wide and shaking his head. "They are definately hiding something," He softly banged his hand on the table as he leaned back into a slouch. "I refuse to believe I'm crazy," He ran his hand through his messy hair and looked at me.
"That is crazy!" He pointed to a girl that looked around fifteen. I stared at her, and narrowed my eyes as she pulled on her hair and screamed.
"That is not me" He looked back at me. "Why is she here?" I questionned out loud.
"What?"
"Why is she here? Because she's crazy," He calmly stated. We looked at each other then at the girl again.
"But if she looks that age she can't be here, Landon isn't here!" I looked at Jacob.
"Who?" He asked.
"Landon, my best friend upstairs looks around her age... in a way," I looked at the girl who was crying now.
"She's a total wreck," He scoffed.
