Irama's Cursed Love

Chapter 6

"I'm with Irama because I met her in the hallway on my way to breakfast. I asked her where she was going and she said to the lounge for breakfast. She then said that she had forgotten how to get to the lounge. I offered to show her the way when I realized she was lost", Nived said in answer to Axela's question. Axela responded with "Well you could have did it faster then you did. It took you ten minutes to get here." "Sorry", Nived started to say but Axela cut him off with "Sorry doesn't make up for what you missed."  "What did I miss?" Nived asked with confusion. Axela rolled her eyes and said " You missed your archery lesson. I told you to met me after I practiced with Ryma for your lesson." Nived shook his head in disbelief before saying "I sure didn't hear you say that." Axela sighed heavily and said "Well I did. It's not my fault you don't listen much." "I listen", Nived protested. I decided to end their non stop bickering. I stepped in between them and held up my hands."That's enough you two. I'm sick of hearing you two arguing. Can you please stop arguing with each other", I asked looking between the two of them. Both nodded their heads."Good", I said before turning to Axela and saying "Nived has something that he wants to tell you. Preferably alone." She nodded and said "Okay. What do you want to tell me Nived?" Nived started walking over to one of the window seats motioning for Axela to follow. She went silently. I watched as they sat down and began to talk. I then watched Axela's face change during the course of their conversation. Axela started crying as she took the news in. I could tell by her face that she was shocked and devastated at the sudden breakup. I continued to watch as their conversation continued. Axela finally nodded her in understandment. Both stood up and Axela gave Nived a hug before walking toward me and saying "Take good care of him daughter of sleep." She walked away before I could say something. Nived walked over to me, wrapped his arms around me, and kissed my forehead. I buried my head in his chest and mumbled into his shirt "I'm sorry you had to do that." I felt Nived sigh before saying "Look at me Irama." I pulled my head of his chest and turned it to the side before saying "I can't". Nived removed his hands from my around me, put his right one on my face, turned it toward him, and lifted it so I was looking at him directly in the eyes. He smiled before saying "You can. You just don't want to." He then cupped both of his hands around my face and kissed me. After pulling away he looked down at me and said "You don't need to be sorry. It was my decision to breakup with Axela. It's not your fault." " It is my fault. If I hadn't come you and Axela would still be together." He lovingly stroked my hair as he said "I wanted to breakup with Axela for a long time but I never had the courage to do so. You gave me the courage to stand up to her and tell her that we're done." I looked at him in confusion."I did? How did I do it?" He grinned and said "You gave me the courage by being you of course" before kissing me again. I was disappointed when he pulled away."So what do you want to do for the rest of the day?" I smiled and said "Doesn't matter, as long as I'm with you." I kissed him. When we pulled apart he glanced over me, smoothed my hair down, and said softly, "Why don't we explore Émitra together?" I laughed and said "That's what I've been wanting to do every since I got here." "Well then let's go explore." I smiled and said "Sounds good." I then shyly asked "Is going exploring our first date?" Nived turned a deep red before responding "Of course not. Our first date will be much more civilized then going exploring. I promise." "What will our first date be?" I asked."It's going to be a surprise so I'm not telling you until it's time" Nived teasingly said."You're impossible" I said before throwing up my hands and walking away. Nived had the nerve to follow me and say "Did I say something wrong?" I spun around to face him and said sarcastically "Of course not." "Then what is it?" "You won't tell me what our first date is going to be" I said pretending to pout. Nived smiled at me lovingly before asking "You sure I'm the impossible one?" "Yes. I'm positive." "Well I think you're the impossible one." "How am I the impossible one." He smiled again before saying "You just are" and walking away. I followed him and angrily said "That's not a proper answer." "Yes it is." "Your answer proves that you're impossible." "And that's why you like me isn't it?" Nived asked teasingly."Yes. I mean no. I mean I don't know" I said struggling for the right answer. Nived smiled sweetly at me before saying " You're so adorable Irama." "Of course I am. That's one of my amazing qualities." I replied. Nived then asked "So what's the first place you can think of to go first my love?" I responded with no hesitation "The library." Nived titled his head sideways in a cute way and said "Of all the places to go you choose the library. Why?" "Don't you remember what I was wearing yesterday?" I asked surprised by his question. He scrunched his face up in concentration "You wearing a dress with books on it if I remember correctly." "I was. What about do you think that dress symbolized?" "This is a wild guess but I think the dress you wore yesterday symbolized your love of books." Nived said uncertainty. I stood on my tip toes and kissed him on the cheek. After doing so I said unbelievingly "You got it right on your first guess. How?" Nived leaned down and kissed me before saying smugly "Of course I got it right. I got it right  because I'm just amazing like that." I laughed and said "You are amazing Nived because you love me for me which surprises me." "Why does it surprise you?" " It surprises me because I might not be able to be who you want me to be." I said lowing my face towards the ground."Irama look at me." Nived said. I looked up at him and he lovingly continued."I only want you to be yourself and no one else. Understand?" I nodded and said "But what if I have a hobby or quirk you don't like?" Nived flashed me one of his gorgeous smiles before leaning down and kissing me while saying into the kiss "I'll love you no matter what Irama." I sighed and responded with "Okay." When Nived finally pulled away and said "Now let us go to explore the library" I was both happy and disappointed. Happy because I got to spend the whole day with Nived and disappointed because of how short our kiss seemed. Nived held out his hand to me and I took it as he pulled me to his side, put his arm around my waist, and asked "Ready to explore?" I nodded and said "I was born ready." Nived slipped his hand back into mine and we started walking again towards the library. While we walked to the library Nived pointed to the rooms that we passed and told me what they were used for. It seemed like a thousand years until we reached the library doors. Once we were there Nived told me "Close your eyes." "Why?" "This is your first time seeing the library so we must do the introduction properly" Nived said seriously."So like in Beauty in the Beast?" I asked."Exactly like that" he responded."Okay" I said before closing my eyes."I'm trusting that you won't let me run into something while my eyes are closed." "You can trust me" after Nived said this I felt his hand on my back gently pushing me forward. I heard the library door open and close then I felt Nived's mouth against my ear as he said "Open your eyes". I obeyed. As soon as I opened my eyes I knew I would spend any free time I had here for the library was as big as the one in Beauty and the Beast and it seemed endless. I walked towards the nearest shelf and ran my ran along the book spines. After doing this I turned to face Nived and ran into his arms. I then kissed him and said "Thank you" ten million times. When I finally pulled away Nived said  "Where to next my Lady?"
