Where exactly am I?

~Taiyang Xiao Long's POV~
I groaned as the light shun through the crack of the curtains, hitting my face. I extended my hand out to cover my face as I slowly opened my eyes. I scanned the room once my eyes focused. All I know is that it isn't home.

My memory was fuzzy but what I do is remember is the Grimm and Ruby, Blake, Yang and a another girl fighting it and arriving to a hospital after that.

I slowly sat up and grabbed the crutches. I positioned myself and got up, shifting my weight on them, swaying my hips forwards and using my good foot to take the first step. All to look at the nearest mirror. God I look awful. I proceeded to do the same motion to head to the bathroom, I hope they don't mind that I use it.

I opened the door and looked around. Why is it so...elegant? I noticed a new toothbrush next to the sink. I hummed as I decided to use it to brush my teeth. After I was done, I rinsed my mouth and spat in the sink, wiping my mouth as I exited out the door.

I proceeded to make my way towards the door. It's a pain to be in crutches, I want to walk normally. I opened the door and pushed it open, making my way out and closing it.

Holy heck, where exactly am I? This place is way too elegant. Maybe we're in a fancy hotel? But how could either one of them afford that?

"Good morning, I didn't expect you to be up this early."

I turned my head towards the voice, recognizing that it was Blake. "Blake? I- um, good morning. I just- what? I thought that you- wait." I stumbled on my words, in shock and in relief to see Blake again.

She smiled, "good to see you too." She giggled.

I flushed red, "it's just been so long."

"Indeed it has, you must be hungry. I can guide you to the kitchen." She said politely. "That'd be great." I said chuckling slightly. She started to walk in a way that I wouldn't fall behind which I was thankful for. I followed her.

In the meantime I was looking around for a bit until Blake pushed the door open softly, holding it. "Thank you." I said as I made my way in the kitchen. "By the way, do you know where exactly am I? Or exactly we are?"

"Hm, do you know the Schnee company?"

"Who doesn't?"

"This is their place."

I nearly choked on my saliva as she stepped inside the kitchen as the chefs' and maids' said good morning. We greeted them back as I was still in shock. "It's a long story." Blake said as she chuckled awkwardly.

I just nodded as they served us a lighthearted breakfast.

After we ate Blake decided to give me a little tour inside. I tried to remember and proses all the information she gave me as we entered and exited rooms. We ended up ending the tour in the enormous living room. I felt so....out of place.

I made my way to the couch and sat down, placing the crutches next to me. "Were you here the whole time you were missing?"

"Yes, it's a long story, very long story."

I just nodded a bit as I looked up at the ceiling. 'So this is the Schnee's place.' I thought to myself.

Sooner or later there was a lot of talking down the hallway. It seems like they're heading this way. I turned my head and saw new faces that I've never seen before, throughout the crowd I saw Ruby, Yang..and Weiss.

We made eye contact, I genuinely wanted to look away but she just smiled at me slightly. I awkwardly smiled back a bit as I looked away.

They walked towards Blake and I, "good morning dad." Ruby and Yang said in unison.

"Good morning Mr. Xiao Long." Weiss greeted.

"Good morning and please, call me Tai."

She chuckled a bit, "alright."
