I sighed a bit running my fingers through my hair. God this is frustrating. Walking towards the window, I looked down, seeing Ruby practicing on her combat skills. I couldn't help but smile.

I slightly winced when I saw her attack at the wrong time, watching her fall down and getting back up. "Ouch.." I mumbled to myself. I watched Ruby put her hair up in a ponytail.

I decided to go down to where she was. I leaned against the wall, she was sweating a lot. She looks so determined to improve. "You need to be relaxed." I said gently. Ruby nearly dropped Crescent Rose but caught it.

"Jesus you scared me."

I couldn't help but giggle, "sorry."

Ruby slightly blushed in embarrassment, shrugging it off. "How's your hand to hand combat?" I asked. "Ummm..." ruby said running the back of her neck.

"I see."

Ruby just nodded. I could tell she was embarrassed. She looked down, ashamed. I walked up to her, lifting her head up. "There's no need to feel ashamed of it. You just need practice. I can help you, so can the rest." I said gently, pecking her lips.

"I know.. but I feel like I'm a burden."

"Nonsense Ruby, you're not a burden."

Ruby nodded a bit, "if you say so."

"Of course."
