Chikako's P.O.V.

It has already been the last couple of days before I'll be taking the transfer exam to get into Totsuki, a world famous culinary school. My Oto-san has told me many things about it and thought it would a good occupation over my old one. Since he never really wanted me to follow in his footsteps anyway, and thought since my cooking skills were better than his he decided that this would be a nice change in pace for me. Not only was the pamphlet useful, but my Oto-san also wrote down a lot of it's history in the individual  manual he made for me when he thought he was going to die. Along with the people who owns it, who teaches there, the RSs, shokugekis, including the current and previous Elite Ten that are there. Although this school is also a winning is everything, like back a Kunigigouka, that place was terrible with having the E class being discriminated from the rest for their bad grades and behavior. Oh! I'm getting sidetracked. My name is Chikako, I don't have a surname because my oto-san never had one. My dad was Oto-san, was the original Shingami, but is now currently known as Koro-san a secretary at Ministry of Defense. While cooking I've always thought of what would happen if my assassination skills would be put up to good use there.

Anyway, right now I'm currently gathering my stuff together to get ready for the entrance exam to enter that academy. "Now are you sure you got everything?" Oto-san asked me with a worried look "Yes, even the lucky octopus charm you got me." I said waving it in front of his face. "What about you cooking supplies?" he then asked me "Oto-san, they'll be providing everything there for the exam so don't worry." I said putting both my hands on his shoulders to have him stop worrying about me. When I was about to leave "Wait Chi-chan!" he yelled holding up my scarf made out of anti-sensei fibers in his hands, he came over and lifted my long balck hair to wrap it around my neck "You definitely can't forget this." Oto-san said to me with a look of sympathy on his face. The reason behind that is because I have tentacles injected into the back of my neck, unlike my dad who was a giant yellow octopus. Last year I was able to make a single antidote for him when it came and was the last one to survive, since that damn Yanigasawa destroyed my notes and formulas to make it. From what I heard Takebayashi and Okuda were trying to crack that case for me to help along with the others who banded together to help me get rid of these tentacles.

"Okay, you're ready." he said giving me a kiss on the forehead "Don't forget even if you don't get in you're still be my number one chef." Oto-san said with a grin on his face. "Hai!" I said with the same grin before taking off to the train station to get there, till I had to tell for a cab to take me to the academy. "Totsuki Academy, please." I told him getting the money out for him "Oh, you don't have to Miss. I know about the transfer exams, I drive the kids up there and when they fail to take them. So there's no need to pay me twice okay." he said with a kind smile on his face. "Thank you." I said smiling at this man's kindness "Hey aren't you one of the kids that help save the Earth from the yellow octopus that blew up 75% of the moon?" he asked while driving to Totsuki "Yes, well it's an honor to meet one of you and the one who made the anitode to save that man's soul." the cab driver said as we made it the stop. "Here we are, welcome to Totsuki Academy." he said to me "I'll be right here when you come back since I have to take those who failed back to the train station." the cab driver said to me. I quickly left the cab and headed towards the examination room where there were multiple rich kids there with their high class cologne, though there was that one kid with red spikey kid up front who smelled like... Peanutbutter?

Later came the examiner who happens to be a girl with honey hair and violet eyes who looks to be around my age and is wearing the school uniform, along with another girl next to her with dark mahogany eyes with a clip board in her arms. "Hey, is that..." "Y-yeah..." the other applicants were murmuring while looking at the examiner in front of us. "Greetings, transfer applicants. I am Nakiri Erina, and I have been assigned to judge today's transfer exams." she introduced her self with her head held high "Any word from the exam division?" Nakiri-san asked her assistant next to her. "I'll read it now." her assistant said holding the clipboard in front of her "Examinees must first undergo interviews in groups of ten based on their applications. They will then undergo a practicum where they will cook three or so dishes. Those who will pass..." as she explained was only to be cut offed my Nakiri-san with a huff at those directions. "How pointless. I have an idea." Nakiri-san said with her thumb and pointer finger cupping her chin while looking at all of us "Bring the kitchen work table here!" she commanded as her assistant slid in a table full of ingredients on it.
