Bad News

"OMG! that trainer is so annoying" Megan exclaimed.
"Calm down he's not that bad just not as good as us" I say cheerily.
"You got that right" Megan laughed. Now both of us are laughing down the corridor of our castle, red carpet with polished shelves and statues everywhere.
"God we need to redecorate" I say
"We only done it last year Megan laughed.
"I know but it's so last year Megan" I laugh back.
"I hate having long corridors" Megan moans
"Ha ha I find it freedom from my dad when he chats to me he can't be bothered to chase me down them." I laugh
"Fair enough" Megan laughs

We reach the throne room oak doors the guards waiting out side say that "dad needs to speak with us" so they let us in with a worrying smile this ain't good I tell myself. Megan looks nervously at me as we enter normally Megan doesn't get invited into our conversation but I tell her anyway and dad doesn't care.
The doors creek open and everyone's heads turn our way and they don't look happy, they look sad,great a way to ruin a beautiful day .
As we enter all the guards leave this is really bad I tell myself, Megan has the same expression on her face. Its good to have Megan as a friend she knows exactly what I'm thinking. My dad is sat in his throne looking straight at me, I guess he felt my nerves and decided to speak. Not before standing up and heads in our direction he looks at Megan and smiles but that sad smile now I know something is wrong. I mean seriously wrong he is always happy unless it comes to news about my brother.

"You are not in trouble, none of you just need to talk" he exclaimed.
"Ok why do you look upset dad is something troubling you" I say quietly.
"Well yes but no oh what the hell yes and you two are the centre of it" he sighs.
"Why what have we done, what ever we did will make it right" Megan says nervously.
"Nothing you done what he has done and what he is planning" my dad getting restless.
"WHO!!" Me and Megan ask.
"Your brother Shannon" he says sadly.
"Dad what's going on , what's he done now" I ask.
"He's coming for you Shannon I might not be able to stop him, he won't harm Megan because of you" he sighs
"you two have to leave go somewhere safe your brother won't be expecting it he expect me to keep you in the castle" he exclaimed.
"What about you?" I ask scared
"I'll be fine , all transport is sorted you will live among mundanes, vampires, werewolfs and demons.
You will be leaving tonight when we distract your brother. "please don't argue its for your safety" he stated.
"Fine I'll go just for u after everything will remain the same right" I say
"Yes I promise" my dad made his way to me and Megan kissed us both on the cheek
"Go get packed" he said

Megan and I leave the room we still didn't understand but we knew my brother was coming, and coming for me. Megan looks straight at me with a weak small smile, we head to our rooms to pack. I'm almost ready I pack my photo of mum and dad then a separate one of my brother when he was kind. Now I'm packed I head to Megan's room and see we packing bottles of blood. Megan doesn't drink human blood unless she has to which is really rare.

We walk in silence when we reach the courts dad was waiting to see me off. I can't cry I'm the strongest but that didn't work I started to cry and my dad pulls me in for a cuddle. "you'll be fine" he says
We enter the car I wave as we leave. Both of us sit there holding hands as we leave to go to England.
