The Demon

Megan I was happily walking along chatting about first day at school. How the school was amazing It was the best thing that has happened in a long time.
"Shannon I like it there" Megan says
"Me too it's weird" I question
"Yeah I know how you feel its like a place with a dark energy but is filled with light energy" Megan replies
"It's good I know you so well and you know me so well" I laugh
Everything went still went cold like someone has took away all the happiness.

Me and Megan shared the same look we looked around there is nothing we can smell it its not a Wolf or vampire we started to get scared.I know this smell its a Demon great they found me I don't know where to go .Megan looks around got her fangs out ready for an attack but nothing happens it's strange. We carry on walking it got worse and worse and worse out of the shadows came a tool man dressed in all black. He didn't seem to care about us he passed us and we kept on walking and began to pick our speed. All of a sudden a hand griped Megan's shoulder and spun her around, I turned round and placed my hand on my hidden dagger.

"Easy vampires I mean no harm" the demon said.
Thank god he thinks I'm a vampire. Megan shares the same looks and turns her attention back to the demon.
"What do you want then" Megan questions
"Information about a certain person" he replies
"Who there are many people here" Megan snaps back . Could not have said that better.
"A person with very importance to my master a shadow hunter" he asks
"I haven't seen one around but if I do where would I find you" Megan questions
"An abandoned warehouse on the opposite side of town" he replies
"Oh and thank you but I don't have any information but I will ask around for you" Megan says
"That would help" he replies
"Kk we have to go" Megan says
"I'll give you a description, golden blonde hair, sapphire eyes, pale skin oh and 15 years old " he says
Only just moving his head to look at me and straight back at Megan.
"Wait he says she will be with a friend one fitting your description and she's a vampire" he turns his head to look at me and takes out a picture and smiles.
Please don't recognise me and how did my brother get a recent photo of me?
"Hello little princess I've come to take you back home to your brother" he hisses.
CRAP I shout in my head where's the nearest exit I think to myself.
"Shannon run I take him down" Megan yells

I do as I'm told a run back to my house which thank god is only a couple of streets away I run swing open the gate and charge into the house and tell the guards everything. the guards surround the house as they wait either for Megan to return or to be attacked. I watch as Megan runs through the gates and tell the guards something they nod and lower there weapons. Thank god I have Megan I can always trust her no matter what. I hear Megan make her way up the stairs probably trying to find the correct words to says in this situation. I don't really care I just want my friend to be fine and forget today ever happened. I turn around as Megan opens the door.

"Shannon we need to talk" Megan States in a very scared tone
"What is it about that demon?" I ask nervously
"Yes something happened" she getting scared like I would hurt her
"What what happened Megan are you all right" I ask worryingly.
"I'm fine but you might not be" she states
"Why?" I question
"He got away , I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough to take him" she starts to cry now
"Oh Megan I love you no matter what happens, oh my brother Is another story but for now let's focus on you" I say as I take her to the doctor to patch up her face. shit I'm in big trouble now if my brother finds out where I am. That doesnt matter Megan comes before my saftey and it will always stay like that.
