Chapter 3: REVIVED

(Y/N) opened it's eyes, you looked around, and saw that you were in your mind palace.
It was calm and quiet, and it was beautiful.
You then went to find someone.

Find Amanda.

You walked around, before finding something that you didn't see before, you walked to it, before softly placing your hand on it, but you quickly pulled your hand back.
It seemed like it was scanning you, and it felt...weird.
You continued to look for Amanda.

"Hello Amanda."You stood behind a woman watering her roses.
"(Y/N)..." Amanda turned to look at you.
"It's good to see you." (Y/N) smiled, as Amanda turned back to the roses.
"Your predecessor was destroyed, it knew Deviants were unpredictable, but it saved the humans, and Android in the room." She then looked back at you.
"I hope you do the same choice in case it happens again."
"I will do so, to save the case." You nodded slightly, Amanda turned back.
"When a (Y/N) model is destroyed, it's memory is transferred to the next one, but some data can be lost in the process, but that isn't important." Amanda watered the flowers, you nodded slightly.
"The interrogation seemed...challenging...what did you think of the Deviant?" Amanda placed the watering can down, and looked at you.
"It showed signs of PTSD after being abused by it's owner, as if it's original program had been completely replaced by new instructions."
"This...Lieutenant Anderson has been officially assigned to the Deviancy case...what do you think of him and the other Android, Connor?"
"Anderson is obviously not what I was expecting but...I don't have enough information yet to tell you what I think." Amanda turned to you.
"We have no choice but to work with him, what do you think about Connor?"
"He seems...focused on the case, yet...he seems to be troubled."
"Explain."
"At the victim's house, Connor seemed to focus a bit more on me, than on the case, is that supposed to happen?" Amanda stayed silent, you noticed the silence, and continued to talk.
"And at the investigation, he seemed to care when my predecessor was destroyed, Androids aren't allowed to 'care' about things, I don't see a reason why Connor cared so much."
"Connor's supposed to care, because of our plans." Amanda looked at you.
"Connor, is supposed to be Deviant, don't tell him that, or he'll be returned to Cyberlife and be replaced."
"I understand, Amanda." You nodded.
"If anyone can find out the problem to the Deviancy happening in Androids, it's you, Connor, and Lieutenant Anderson, pick up the investigation where the previous (Y/N) left off, and put a stop to this." (Y/N) went to walk away, but Amanda stopped you.
"Hurry, (Y/N). There's little time." Amanda then went to talk away, before you opened your eyes, and walked to the station.

(Y/N) entered the station, before you walked to the desk.
"I'm here to see Lt.Anderson."
"Do you have authorization?"
"Yes." You then connected with the Android.
"Lt.Anderson hasn't arrived yet, but you can wait for him at his desk."
"Thank you."
You were programmed to have manners, you then walked to the back to look for Anderson's desk.
You already knew where his desk was at, because Connor was standing beside his desk, you walked up to him.
"Hello Connor." He looked at you and backed up a bit, his LED was flashing red.
"My name is (Y/N), a prototype from Cyberlife."
"You...were shot...how are you here?"
"Cyberlife sent me to replace my predecessor." You blankly replied.
"And I will make the same decision if I have to." Connor's LED was now yellow.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes." You nodded, Hank then walked to his desk.
"It's good to see you, Lieutenant." Connor looked at Hank, you then looked at him.
"Hello Lieutenant." He then looked up at you and backed up.
"!!!"
"My name is (Y/N), a prototype from Cyberlife."
"You got shot, you.."
"I'm sorry if my predecessor caused you both problems, but I will make the same decision if I have to."

SYSTEM DETECTED
Hank grew tense.

"Hank!" Hank turned to the man who shouted his name.
"In my office!" Hank groaned, before he walked to where the man was at, Connor followed him, you then went to explore the station.
(Y/N) walked into a little kitchen that was made for coffee and donuts.
A police officer looked at you, but you  decided to looked around, the officer started to talk but you didn't care about what he said.
You then turned to him and quickly scanned him.
"Hello, Detective Reed." (Y/N) stood up straight, Detective Reed then walked to you.
"Never seen an Android like you before...what model are you?"
"SX600, I'm a prototype."
"A prototype?" He looked at the other police officer,
"Android detective." He then looked back at (Y/N).
"So machines are gonna...replace us all...is that it?" You said nothing.
"Hey, bring me a coffee dipshit!" (Y/N) didn't move,
"GET A MOVE ON!" Gavin shouted at you.
"I'm sorry, but I only take orders from Lieutenant Anderson."
"Oh... Oh.." Gavin looked at the police officer, before he punched (Y/N) in the stomach, you held your stomach before you went down,
"When a human gives you an order, you obey! Got it?" Gavin kneeled down to you.
"Stay outta my way... Next time, you won't get off so easy." Gavin then pushed (Y/N)'s head, and walked off.
You stood up straight and dusted yourself off.
