Its been 3 months since the games...
I cant sleep at night...
I am always locked in my room..
I cant move on.

I turned 15.. yay...
Only 3 more months till the victor parade.. and I have to confront the familys I destroyed.. what did I do to deserve to be alove more then those kids? Then Arch? Amazon? ..Asher?
What did I do..?

My dad Finally convinces me to go to town with him.. our district is eating well now..
So people are happy! Everyone but me. and ashers family of course..

We walk and I keep my head down people try to say Hi.. or just.. I dont know stare?
They have all learned to call me freak, or the girl who was ruined by the games...

Dad sends me in to get some fruits and stuff from the store, and I go in and grab the stuff at the counter the person there looks at me weirdly, but doesnt talk then while making sure I got everything.. I run into someone

A boy, he looked 16.. or 17.. he had blonde hair and blue eyes.. didnt look to be from around here.. but that doesnt really matter..

He knocked the groceries out of my hand and he picked them up, I looked up my eyes meeting his and he smiled..

"Im Rye Burnton" He says holding his hand out,
I looked at it and then back up at his eyes,
"You.. dont know who I am?" I ask.. my voice a bit rough since I havnt talked in a while.
"No... Should I?" He says his hand still out..
"No, I guess not.." I say,
And then I shake his hand.
"Im Maddie Watkins"
I say Smiling for the first time in 3 months,
And for the first time since it all happened, I felt Happy..

I felt like Fighting again..

*I just thought I should add this in here to gove Maddie a sorta jappy ending, and yes! Im planning on writing another one (if you guys want) And I guess.. The fire HASNT been Extinguished after all...*
