-Shadow's POV-

I sat high up on a thick branch of one of the many trees that surrounded me, one leg was folded underneath, the other lazily swung back and forth. I was hiding from the moons light as it shone down, strange how it was brighter than the other nights. But I wasn't just hiding, I was waiting. Waiting for the time to be right so I could strike the rouge ninjas camp.

The hood of my trench coat was up and I had my mask down, around my neck, just for now. The never wilting flower that I had in my hair shifted slightly under my hood. It was the last thing remaining from my village before it was burnt to ashes. My family and clan members along with it. I let out a soft breath and shook my head.

'Now is not the time to be thinking of them my dear.' A deep voice said in my head. The sudden voice made me jump before I quickly relaxed when I realised it was only my demon. I let out a huff of annoyance and crossed my arms over my chest.

"I know." I spoke softly out loud, as a harsh wind blew down my hood which allowed my long black hair to be free to move with the wind.

My thoughts went to my team. They were waiting for me back at home. The Demon Country. A small smile graced my face as I thought of the idiotic twins that were only silly around me and our sensei. But that smile soon left my face only to be replaced by a frown. Before I left, there were rumours of a truce between us and the Leaf and how it would be my team to go. It's not as though I didn't want to go, I loved visiting different villages, but I have a feeling that something was going to happen and I don't know whether it is good or bad.

The sound of laughing brought me out of my thoughts and I looked at the camp. A number of the rogues were gathered round the large fire that they had made. Each one of them had the symbol for the Hidden Rain Village with a slash through it. Why anyone would betray their country is beyond me. But it was good for me.

I was always picked for assassination missions as our Kage knew that it helps keep me and my demon's bloodlust under control. I counted the ninja that were sat round the fire. Sixteen sat around the fire but I can sense more, I closed my eyes and quickly did some handsigns.

"Shadow Style, All Seeing Mist Justu." I mumbled and I could sense as a black like mist spread across the camp, though it was very faint and almost invisible to the untrained eye. Keeping my eyes closed I began to get images of the camp and how many ninja there were. Thirty-six in total.

My eyes suddenly snapped open as I got an image of an image of three leaf ninja. 'What are they doing here?' I thought as I decided to wait until they made their move. I wanted to see what they were going to do. I slipped my mask up and took my coat off, placing it gently on the tree branch, getting ready so I could step in when I wanted.

After ten minutes of waiting, they made their move. I silently slipped down the tree and landed on the ground in a crouched position, a small amount of chakra in my feet to help me land steadily. I watched as the three leaf ninja began to silently kill the rouges. I smirked under my mask. At least if we form a truce it'll be with a strong country.

The smirk soon went as the rouges noticed them and began to attack them. But the leaf ninja held their own and defended themselves but they were greatly outnumbered.

"My turn." I mumbled and stepped out of the shadows and behind the rogue ninja. One of the leaf ninja saw me, I glanced at the male and noticed that he had white gravity defying hair. 'Wonder if he uses hairspray.' I thought but leaped back to dodge an oncoming kunai knife.
