Felicia hated this. She was quite sure there was no other thing on this filthy Earth that she hated more than this.

A while back, Felicia's older brother, Fallacy, had decided that if she were going to be part of the royal court and make major decisions in the kingdom and on the battlefront, she had to learn how to defend herself. He had proclaimed that she has no respect for soldiers and what they go threw on the battlefield. Her idea of them was that they are nothing more than just pawns on a chess board.

Necessary sacrifices that had to be made.

This deeply angered Fallacy at the time, where he then decided to send a letter to an old friend of his to come and tutor Lady Felicia in the art of swordplay.

She had tried to get one of the servants to throw her a bone and convince Fallacy to change his mind, but they had all seemed to agree with their lordships decision.

And thus, here she was, waiting in the ballroom for a mysterious sword fighter. She really should address is as one of the ballrooms. Since the castle's large size made it easy to hold a few.

Felicia was told she would need lots of space, but had decided to use one of the smaller amphitheaters. She supposed it was because this was one of her favorite places to be at. She had nicknamed it The Swan Room because of the small pond that covered the scenery of the windows, which held quite a few swans.

She used to come here with Jasper and Suave when the two were little, reading them fairy tales. Sometimes she would even let them play out scenes from their favorite books, so that they may get to experience what it was like to be the hero of a story.
But as they got older they grew out of fairy tales and playtime, growing out of her as well it seemed.

Felicia's heart grew lonely from the neglect, and it seemed to have grown cold in that amount of time as well.

The vampire maiden sighed, brushing a lock of red and black hair from her face. She had no idea what she was supposed to wear to an event like this, so she went with her usual red satin gown, with a gold and black bodice. Pulling up a dusty wooden chair next to her, Felicia then gathered her skirts and sat down.

As calming of a mood as this room usually put her in, the anger from her being here in the first place boiled back up in her.

'This teacher better at least not be ugly,' she thought to herself as she continued to wait in silent anger
