If All Else Fails...(Music AU)(Up For Adoption)

~Chapter 1~

~Izuku's POV~

I woke up to be welcomed by the sun shining through my window. I checked my alarm clock beside me. It was 6:30 sharp. Today was tuesday, meaning it was grocery day. Today was my day to pick up the groceries. Since we all lived in the dorms we took turns to make it fair. I still had school today obviously, so I made my way to the closet and got dressed. Then I headed out to school.

                       ~At school~

Today was just like any other day. First period was music, where I again brought tears to the classrooms eyes, then we had the music battle. This time it consisted of: Iida, Mina, and Kirishima. The winner ended up being Kirishima on the electric guitar.

During lunch I sat with Todoroki and Kacchan.

"Isnt this week yours Deku?"
Kacchan asked.

"Ya, anything you guys want? I still have to ask everybody else."

"I can ask for you. As for me, Im fine with anything." Todoroki added.

Todoroki has always been a big helper. I dont know why but I feel fifferent around Todoroki and Kacchan. Not in the lovey dovey way, but I feel like they understand me way more than anyone else.

The rest of school flew by. Todoroki had helped me make a shopping list for the class. I was getting ready to leave when Kacchan ran up to me.

"Mind if I tag along?"

"Uhm...sure."

I didnt know why he wanted to, but i wasnt complaining. Kacchan makes me laugh anytime we're together.

We made it to the store and started grabbing the things on the list. We were  talking, joking, and laughing so much. Nothing could ruin my mood when I was out with Kacchan. Well..maybe not...nothing....

The way back to the dorms was normal.  Normal until Kacchan started to ask questions.

"So Deku...I was wondering..."

"You were wondering...what?" I dont know why, but i was nervous for his question. Something about the way he

"Well...last night I went to your dorm to see if you wanted to hang out. You didnt answer when I knocked on your door so I let myself in. (Midoriya gave him and Todo a key) You were in the shower and I heard you singing. It was so beautiful. How come uou never sing in class?"

His questions made me tense. What brought this topic up.

"I uh- I...I do-"

Soon flashbacks started piling into my mind. I couldnt see...I couldnt focus. I was lost in my mind. Nothing but the pictures from that night filling my brain.

"DEKU! DEKU PAY ATTENTION TO THE ROAD!"

It was too late. Nothing could pull me out of this. Nothing nothing nothing!-

"DEK-"

Silence.

I opened my eyes. Pain was searing through every inch of my body.

"Izuku...IZUKU LOOK AT ME! DONT CLOSE YOUR EYES. YOU NEED TO STAY AWAKE."

Was that...Kacchan? His voice was fuzzy...what happened. Why does everything hurt. I was tired. I wanted to sleep, but Kacchan told me to stay awake...i dont know why...but he sounded panicked so...maybe I should try.

"The ambulance is on the way...I need you to stay with me...can you do that for me? Please?"

I couldnt answer. Why was there an ambulance coming? Was someone hurt?

My vision started to fill with balck spots. I needed sleep. I can apoligize to Kacchan later for falling asleep even though he said not to. I just...had to.

"No no no...Izuku stay awake for me...Listen...LISTEN. Do you hear that? Thats the ambulance...they are gonna help you. Everything is gonna be fine-"

I could tell he was still talking to me, but I was too tired. I let sleep consume me.

Im sorry...Kacchan...

I had a lot of fun with this chapter! I hope you enjoyed the...cliff hanger? If you can call it that. I dont know.
