~3rd Person POV~

(IMPORTANT!!!! KATSUKI AND MIDORIYA ARE NOT CHILDHOOD FRIENDS!!!! THEY MET THE MIDDLE OF THE LAST YEAR OF MIDDLE SCHOOL BECAUSE MIDORIYA TRANSFERRED TO KATSUKI'S SCHOOL!!! THIS. IS. IMPORTANT. KATSUKI KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT MIDORIYAS FAMILY!!!)

"CLEAR."

Silence...

beep beep beep

~Katsuki POV~

Relief. That's all I felt. I didn't care that he was nearly crushed to a pulp. Or that the next few weeks would be total hell for him, because I'm sure it will. All I cared about was the fact that he was alive. Granted his heart was beating a little slower than average.

Everybody on the ambulance was cheering.

They quickly began looking over both of our injuries.

"You got the lucky side of it kid"

No DUH. THEY LITERALLY JUST HAD TO BRING HIM BACK FROM THE DEAD AND THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT TO ME?!

They looked at my leg, and told me I would need stitches.

I didnt care.

"So...is he gonna be ok?"

"He'll most likely live, but I don't know if we can fix this arm. It may be crushed beyond repair. Well have to see what the orthopedic surgeon says." (I know them peoplez all to well)

Wait...if they cant repair it...does that mean...they have to amputate his arm?!

NO WAY! IM NOT LETTING THEM CUT HIS FREAKING ARM OFF! NO. WAY.

We arrive at the hospital about 10 minutes later. They immediately take him to the OR. Something about a punctured lung. They spoke in a very doctory way that made it to where I couldn't understand them. They said they were working on his lung first then they would "observe" his arm, and decide what they would do then.

They stitched up my leg fairly quickly. The whole class showed up about halfway through. Weird hair said something about it being the manliest cut he's ever seen.

"So...how's Izuku...Where is he at?" Todoroki asked.

"Surgery. They said he has a punctured lung they need to repair. Then they would decide what to do with his arm." My voice started wavering on that last part.

"What do you mean...decide what do to with his arm." Round face asked, obviously nervous for my answer.

"The piece of metal he was trapped under crushed his arm...they think its damaged beyond repair...meaning..." I couldn't say the last part, but by the look on their faces I knew they understood.

"Update on Midoriya?" I heard a nurse say from the door frame that seperated the waiting room from the ICU rooms.

Izu has been in surgery for quite some time, but they've been giving us update every 30 minutes or so.

We all walk over to the nurse.

"We've inspected the arm and...unfortunately there's no possible way to fix it. We've tried our best, but unfortunately the impact from the debris damaged not only the bones, but the ligaments and muscle around it beyond repair. We will begin a below elbow amputation as soon as we get a parent or guardians consent seeing as he is a minor."

We were all stunned. I had told myself over and over that he was gonna be fine. He would recover from this, and still be able to do what he loves. What he lives for. Now all his dreams will perish because of my mistake.

"He...he's never talked about his parents or caretakers...don't you have it in the system?" Todoroki finally spoke up. Izuku has always been a closed book when it came to family (This is where that IMPORTANT A/N comes into play. READ IT IF YOU SKIPPED OVER ITTTTTT! Please?)

"Unfortunately the only member of his family listed was his mother Inko Midoriya and well...you know why we can't contact her."

~3rd person POV~

Everyone froze. They all knew that name way too well. It was one of the most popular unsolved murder cases in the world. In fact, they had even done a research project over it. They had asked Izuku if he was related to her in any way, but he just said the last name was a coincidence as he had no relation to her. They obviously knew now that this in fact...was a lie.

So like...I don't know if you would consider this to be a cliff hanger or not...I just think this chapter has a lot of information to take in. Don't wanna overload that brain of yours am I right? And yes I killed Inko! I'm SOWWY! Lets all agree we love our Broccoli bois mama. May she rest in peace. Ok I feel so bad for doing this, DONT KILL ME! AnYwAy I hope you enjoyedddddd. Byeeeeeeeeeee~
