Chapter 16 - The Mystery..

Sorry for no updates in a while >~<

Gray's POV

We were walking down the giant crater all the way to the bottom. I heard someone staring to laugh. I looked around but saw no one except me and Natsu. Natsu turned my way, he must hear it too.

"Gray, what's that laughing...?" He asked I could feel his hand shaking.

"I-I don't know..." I said trying listen for where it was coming from.

I looked around. It's coming from everywhere!? Now I was starting to get creeped out.

"Let's just keep going..." I said continuing to walk.

When we reached the bottom the laughing immediately stopped. We started to walk around. There was dust, bugs and everything everywhere. I stopped walking in front of a statue. I studied it closely. It looks just like that person from before...?

"Hey Gray what's this over here?" Natsu asked from across the room.

I went over to where he was. I looked at it. It was a silver key exactly like the one we got. Only this one was silver the one we have is a bronze color. We took the key and continued to search on. We searched everything we could. I looked around till I found a chest. My eyes lit up with hope.

"Oi Natsu I found a chest!" I called him over to where I was.

Natsu scurried over to me bending down next to me. We looked at each other smiling. Well time to see what's in the chest. I put the bronze key in and turned it. When I opened the top lots of dust came out. Me and Natsu started coughing. I blew the dust away. And looked inside the chest. Inside their was a-

General POV

There was a loud rumble under the ground. They ground was shaking underneath Gray and Natsu. Gray frantically looked around. He grabbed Natsu's arm and ran for the stairs.

"C'mon we have to get out of here pronto!" Gray said starting to run up the stairs.

"Wait! Don't run so fast.." Natsu said trying to catch up with the raven haired boy.

Gray couldn't hear Natsu over all the rumbling and he kept going, going faster.

Natsu tried to keep up with him. Then a large drop of liquid fell onto the boys interlocked hands. It was slimy goo. It was so slippery that their interlocked hands slipped away from each other's.

"Gray!"

"Natsu!"

They yelled for each other. The only problem a rock fell in between them...
