" Papa, please stop crying. you know how much I hate it. I can't see you cry, Papa. Please stop." Vegeta sobbed wrapping his arms around his father.

" V-Ve-Vegeta! What're you doing here?" The king asked confused.

" I came to see you, Papa. Please don't cry like this. How many times did I tell you not to cry, huh? Then Why're you crying?" Vegeta said angrily, fisting his hands on his hips, still shading tears.

" Vegeta, how can I stop, son? I'm your father. I can't be happy after losing you. I don't think I'll live long, vegeta. You're my only anchor."

" You have Tarble, Papa." Vegeta said desperately.

" But, vegeta, it's different."

" And how so?"

" Your words, your behaviour, your voice, cheerfulness. I'll never forget, vegeta. I would not be able to get over it." King Vegeta started sobbing painfully as tears streamed down his face.

" Papa, please. Your heart can't take the stress. I beg you please don't cry." He tried to soothe him," you'll get over me. You'll see. Everything will be fine,Papa."

" No, vegeta. I can't. It's all my fault. What a father I'm! making his own son kill himself."

" Please, please, please stop father, please stop this. If I'm to die, please don't make me regret it, please. I don't blame you, father. I don't blame anyone. It's not your fault. I love you."

" I love you too, son."

" Then you'll stop, crying and try to keep me happy, okay. Now, smile, Papa. I only want you to keep smiling, everyday of your life." Vegeta smiled in tears.

" Vegeta." King Vegeta hugged him and sniffed as he tried to smile," I'll always love you, my son. I'll never forget you. We'll meet again, vegeta."

" Yes, father. We'll. But, it's not like I'm dying now. So, don't cry again, okay."

King vegeta nodded and gave him a teary smile.

" Now, I should go. I've to make your pie. I'll meet you in dining room. Okay."

Someone cleared their throat and they turned to look at him.

Vegeta gasped and bowed his head, "Oh, I'm sorry, uncle bardock. Please, pardon me for my ignorance.

" It's okay, vegeta. How are you? " Bardock smiled.

Suddenly he jumped at bardock.

" Uncle, bardock!", vegeta tackled him as he hugged him," how have you been all this time. You never even said goodbye to me. I'm angry with you." Vegeta mumbled the last part.

" I'm sorry, vegeta. You're out of town, in your friends house. I never got a chance to bid you goodbye properly."

" It's okay, uncle." He smiled.

" Vegeta! You've changed from the last time I saw you. You're atleast half an inch tall now and more beautiful than before." He ruffled his hair.

Vegeta blushed," thanks, uncle......now, I should go. Bulma must be waiting for me."

" Who's Bulma?" Bardock asked confused.

" It's a maid, she's my friend. Please excuse me, uncle. I should go." Without waiting for an answer, Vegeta dashed away from there.

" Such a beautiful boy, so lively. I hate the rules here, vegeta. If I were the king, I would have changed it." He said angrily.

" I know right. But I can't change it, bardock. I can't let our goddess' wrath fall upon vegetasei. I hate being a king. Why me? " King Vegeta said, similarly feeling angry.

" You and I can't do anything, vegeta. It's all god's consent. But you'll see, one day this rules will change. There's delay in god's home but not darkness." Bardock hoped.

Vegeta strolled down halls, pie in hand, feeling extra cheery.

The guards opened the dining room doors. Vegeta smiled at them and went in to the royals' personal dining table. He hummed a song as he set everything right.

Father will love this, he thought smiling.

" Vegeta, where's my pie." King Vegeta came to the table and sat down.

He licked his lips as he started eating, " hmmmm, it's so delicious. You're the best, vegeta."

" Thank you, Papa."

" Sit here, beside me, son. I can't finish all this alone."

Vegeta smiled and nodded as he sat down beside his father.

They ate their food, conversing about this and that.

The rest of the day went away peacefully and they bid goodnight to eachother and went to sleep in their quarters.
