Vegeta entered the palace and walked through the hallway humming and swaying happily.

Bulma ran to him and gripped his arm in her hands, panting slightly,
" Vegeta! Where were you? Do you have any idea how long have I been trying to find you?"

Vegeta furrowed his brows, " Why? What happened?"

" Kakarot is here!"

His eyes widened," what! So early?"

" It's almost 12:30 vegeta! They'll soon start seeking you."

" B-But I'm not ready to face them yet." He looked down at his clothes.

" So get ready. Hurry up! I'll help you. Let's go." She dragged him to his room by his arm.

Kakarot was sitting there on a couch in the king's personal study room, opposite from king Vegeta, with his father beside him. He clenched his pants in his hands nervously as he his father talked with the king.

" Vegeta, how's everything going? "

" Just going, Bardock. Nor good nor bad. I lost my interest in life long ago." He sighed, feeling very tired.

" Why're you saying that?"

" You know why, bardock.....anyway, let it go. Tell me what brings you here?"

" I came here to talk to you about something important."

" hm? Is it a good or bad?" The king raised an eyebrow, curiously.

" A very very good news." Bardock grinned showing his teeth.

" Tell me then. Don't waste my time."

" Oh? Am I wasting your time now?" He asked playfully.

" Shut up, bardock and Tell me already."

" Alright, alright. Vegeta, did vegeta told you anything relating love?"

" Yes, he did tell me about someone he loves." He took a glance at kakarot.

" Care to tell me who he is?"

" He is......why? Don't go round and round, bardock. Get straight to the point." He crossed his arms annoyingly.

Bardock sighed and mumbled," you really never changed, did you? Always impatient."

" No! I didn't. Now will you please tell me?" King vegeta snapped, gritting his teeth.

" Okay okay. Calm down. Listen, my son loves your son. He confessed his feelings to vegeta and he said he feels the same. Kakarot proposed him and he agreed. Now, tell me, what do you think about their marriage?"

King vegeta frowned. He looked up at kakarot and saw him looking at him gulping nervously. He looked back at bardock, not saying anything for a few moments.

Kakarot had never felt this nervous before. He was always a cheerful, carefree person. But today, he didn't know why, no matter how much he tried to assure himself that everything will be okay, he still felt like this. Specially, knowing how much vegeta respected his father, that he will not marry him if his father refuses to. He cannot help but feel very anxious.

He doesn't know what he'll do if he lost him. He loves him too much and cannot even think about living a life without him.

He shook his head to clear his mind of this negative thoughts, No! Everything will be fine. I'm just thinking too much. Nothing will go wrong. I just have to keep faith.

Vegeta stood there like a mannequin, lost in his own thoughts as Bulma inspected him for any imperfections. He's feeling so very nervous. What if father refuses our marriage? What will kakarot do? What will I do? I don't think I'm capable of handling that. I don't want to lose kakarot. No! I will not lose him. I trust father very much and I believe that he'll not try to hurt me in any way. I just have to keep hope.

Vegeta snapped awake from his thoughts as Bulma finished inspecting and started to voice her opinion,
" Perfect! You're ready now, my dear prince. You're looking so beautiful, if only I could keep you for myself." She smirked.

" Shut up, Bulma. I'm already feeling very nervous. Don't try to joke with me!"

" Chill, vegeta. Take a deep breath and try to relax. Everything will be fine, okay?" She put her hand on his shoulder and squeezed gently to assure him.

" Okay. Thanks, Bulma." He took a deep breath and tried to relax his mind.

Bulma frowned," I told you not to thank me ever for anything......Now, be ready. They can ask for you any moment now."

He nodded his head and sat down on the edge of the bed with his hands on his lap, waiting nervously.

They didn't have to wait long as someone knocked on the doors.
