Dramione: The Forced Marriage

Chapter 2

Draco's P.O.V
Everyone was outraged at what Shacklebolt said. I too was the same but I, unlike others, was not cursing.

"SILENCE!" Mcgonagall bellowed.

Everyone fell quite.

"Thank you, Mcgonagall." Shacklebolt said "You're to find the person you are to marry through the sorting hat." Everyone in the Slytherin table started murmuring to each other of how stupid this was but I was more worried of who I would end up with.

"Please do not let any of the lower years hear anything of this, they will find out later on in the week." Mcgonagall stated.

Shacklebolt nodded to what Mcgonagall said before he continued. "I know a lot of you want to prepare yourself of what is to come of this law." Shacklebolt said

Everyone silently agreed on this fact.

"So the Ministry has agreed to let the students of Hogwarts have to let them have one night to take this in." Shacklebolt stated

Mcgonagall then took the stage "Thank you Shacklebolt. Everyone is dismissed, Professors." with that statement all the Professors got up and took them to their respectful houses. (the Professors came back from taking the other years to their houses, just some clarification.)

~In the Slytherin Common Room~

"If I am put with someone like Ron Weasley, I will lose it." I heard Pansy say before I walked to the boys dorms.

I then flopped down onto my bed thought to myself before I fell asleep.

Hermione's P.O.V
In the common room Ginny started to panic

"What if I'm not put with Harry!?" Ginny said

"If the sorting hat knows what it's doing, you and Harry will be together." I said

While I said that I glanced at Ron, he didn't even seem to care at all that we might be separated from each other.

"Ron, how do you feel?" I asked him

"Oh I'm absolutely devastated that we might not be together anymore" He said in the most sarcastic tone I have ever heard.

"Well I'm gonna go sleep on it." I stated and walked to the girls dormitory. And as soon as I hit my bed I fell asleep.

~In the Middle of the Night~

I woke up in a cold sweat after I dreamed of what happened in the Malfoy Manor and decided to just stay awake. I got up and went downstairs to the common room and sat down on the floor admiring the fire.

I stayed there for a couple of minutes before I started thinking "What if I don't end up with Ron? He doesn't seem to care anyways." I shook my head, trying to get these thoughts out of my head. I checked the time.

3:07 am

"Ok, I should try and get some more sleep. " I thought and then I walked back up and just tried to go back to sleep again.

~In the Morning~

I felt someone shake me " 'Mione GET UP." I opened my eyes and realized it was Ginny.

"What do you want." I groaned

"It's time for breakfast." Ginny proclaimed

"I don't want breakfast." I said which was muffled by my face being in the pillow.

"But we have our sorting and you can't miss that." Ginny said

"We already had are sorting Ginny." I said thinking she meant are house sorting.

"Not the one you're thinking of 'Mione." Ginny said.

"What other one is there?" I asked

"The one for are soulmates" Ginny stated nonchalantly.

Then I jumped up from my bed and almost fell.
