Poem #21

The wind so cold
Sends chills to the bone
Whispering in the mourning night
"Go home" , it weeps, "I never belonged here just as you! Every day do we ever feel as if to some hope we may find a single friend!"
"Everyone says they hate us!" ,It cries, "I just want to be loved..."
When the chill of the cold finally leaves and heat takes its place,
it can't hear many say, "I love the cold, but it's gone away..."
It never knows the good it's done.
And it never will again ,
After all the cold will never win...
