"p-please, d-dont hurt me." the child stuttered out, fear evident in his eyes.
"I told you I'm not gonna hurt you so stop your whining." kiera said as she held him off the ground by his brown skarf.
"t-then, w-why are you doing this?" he asked.
"because, you wouldn't accept the medicine for that cut the first few times that I offered it." she pointed at the deep cut on his knee, then held out a vial of medicine.
the boy took it, hoping to get put down afterward. he was wrong.
she let him fall to the ground, but still blocked his way of escape. he opened the vial, and put a finger in the medicine. slowly, he rubbed it on the cut. it healed quickly, almost as though it had never been there.
when it was all healed, kiera stepped out of the way. the boy quickly got up and ran away, not sparing a single glance at her.
kiera sighed and turned, walking towards the training grounds.
she arrived there just in time to see kankuro and temari battling. temari was using her fan to keep kankuro's puppets at bay, but it wasn't working out so good.
kiera sighed and started walking over to gaara, who was just standing there watching.
"same old, same old." kiera stated.
gaara nodded.
"okay, that's enough for now." baki- sensei suddenly appeared between temari and kankuro.
"where were you, sensei?" temari asked as she caught her breath.
baki- sensei look her over a minute, then sighed. "the kazekage summoned me to talk about a new mission."
"what's the mission," kiera asked walking over to stand beside temari.
"you've heard about the upcoming chunin exams, right?"
we all nodded.
"well, I just got a mission that will envolve you entering the exams this year. the kazekage doesn't know if he can trust you with the details of the mission, so until he knows he can, you'll be in the dark." baki explained.
"so, when do we leave?" kankuro spoke up.
"tonight."
we nodded, then went our separate ways to pack.
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((
we stood outside the gates of suna, waiting for baki- sensei to arrive. we had all packed light, taking only what we knew we'd need. including our weapons.
baki arrived at 6:00, varying the same amount of stuff as we were.
we all nodded and started walking towards the land of wind, leading to konoha.
