We kept walking, taking barley any breaks until we were in a green canopy of trees. Baki- sensei told us that the trees would shield us from the suns rays. So, we walked until we were far enough away from the sand before we made camp.
Kankuro seemed to be thinking, along with temari.
'Hmm, they're planning something,' kiera thought as she played down next to gaara.
The stars were out, making the sky a cross between breathtaking and calming art.
"Its beautiful, isn't it, gaara?" She asked.
He seemed as though he'd been in deep thought, and jumped a little. Though it wasn't enough for his sibling or sensei to see.
He looked over at kiera for a second before answering. "Yes, its beautiful."
"Hmm, I'm going to sleep. wake me up two hours before the sun rises, Kay." She asked stifling a yawn.
He nodded, and went back to starring at the moon.

someone touched kiera gently, waking her from her dreamless sleep. Though she'd barley slept, she didn't argue. She just sat up straight and started starring at the ever present moon before her. Though only two hours remained of it being in the sky, she still felt as though it would stay there for eternity. She sighed and glanced over at gaara. He seemed so much a peace here that she almost regretted nudging him, therefore snapping him out of his peace filled state.
"I'm going to go wash up, I'll be back in about 20 minutes, okay?" She asked.
"Be careful," he stated.
She nodded before getting up a going over to the river. She was happy that it was far away from where they'd set up there camp last night. She quickly washed her dark black hair, making sure they're weren't any tangles before washing the rest of her body. When she was done, she stepped out of the river and started to dry off, but on a different outfit when she finished. She let her waist length hair fall down, not bothering to restrain it with a hair-bow.
She slowly walked back to where gaara was still sitting and sat down next to him. She'd already brushed her teeth so all she needed to do now was put her crescent katana on her back, and her weapons pouch on her left leg.
Soon, baki- sensei woke up and yawned. He looked over at us before waking first temari, so she could go and wash, then kankuro when she got back. After kankuro was done, they set off again.
It didn't take long before they arrived at a tea house. They decided to get something to eat and drink so they wouldn't be traveling on an empty stomach.
Afterwards, they started out again. This time they didn't stop until they were really close to konoha. They made up camp again, this time, everyone (but gaara of course) went to sleep before another word was said.
The next started out like the other day. Kiera being the first one up, and therefore the first one to take a bath. Baki- sensei had left during the night to go get them their passes, so this time, kiera woke up temari, then kankuro.
They set out again, kankuro complaining that his feet and back hurt. So, after hearing his complaints for over a hundred times, kiera threatened to break his back and feet if he didn't shut up.
Things went smoothly and quietly after that until they saw a big gate up ahead.
