They stared at the gates disdainfully as they neared the entrance to konoha. Two men who appeared to be jounin were sleeping. It seemed as though they were supposed to be guarding the gate. Kiera went up to one of the men and hit him in the head, startling him awake.
He glared up at her, still drowsy from sleep.
"What," he grawled.
"We were just wandering if our sensei left a message here for us." She said innocently.
He dug into his bag and pulled out a black and white scroll. Temari took it from him and started reading:
"Dear sand-siblings and kiera,
I talked to the hokage, and he gave me the passes you need while you are here. I attached them to the end of this letter, so you don't get accused of trespassing. I already went and checked you into the Atrata hotel. Its located on the west side of the hokage mountain. When you get there, just ask the receptionist for room key 108. I won't be there for the first part of the exams, because of business. I'll meet up with after the second part. Until then, stay low. We can't afford to make any enimies at the moment. Oh, and kiera, stay low enough to where your barley noticeable. I've heard rumors that two teams from the light and dark crescent island are competing in the chunin exams. They are dangerous, so don't try to fight them.
-baki-sensei."
They nodded silently to each other before walking to the hotel. First, temari took a shower, then kiera, and kankuro. After they were all done, kankuro and temari decided to go sight seeing. They dragged a reluctant kiera with them, leaving gaara.
They walked until they heard commotion coming towards them. Kankuro turned around just in time to be plowed into by a little kid.
"You need something?" Kankuro asked looking down at the kid.
Kankuro suddenly picked the kid up by his scarf.
"This hurt, punk," he looked the scared kid in the eyes.
"Knock it off, kankuro." Temari stated, placing a hand on her hip. "Your gonna get us in trouble if you don't stop messing around."
"I'm sorry, I was the one messing around," the pinkette spoke up.
The blonde crawled." PUT HIM DOWN, YOU BIG GORILLA!!!"
Kankuro just smirks and says," I'm just gonna play with him. What about you kiera? You want to have some fun with these pesky little brats?"
The kids looked at her, finally noticing she was there.
"Kankuro, as much as I'd like to take your offer, I can't. Besides, sent you a little too young to be playing around with children." She stated.
"Suit yourself, I'm gonna have some fun until he gets here."
The blonde charges at kankuro, who just flicks his fingers and the blonde flies back to his friends.
He got back up and grawled.
"YOU BONEHEAD!!! I WAS GOING EASY ON YOU! NOW PUT KONOHAMARU DOWN BEFORE I GO ALL-OUT!"
The pinkette grabs him and puts him in a choke hold. She whispers something into his ear and his face go ghostly pale.
Kankuro seems to find this amusing.
"You guys are annoying. It makes me wanna teach you a lesson!"
He rears back his hand to take a punch but is hit in the hand by a rock. He drops the kid, and the pinkette rushes to grab him.
Everyone looks where it came from, and see a raven haired boy standing in the tree, throwing two other small rocks around.
"Your way out of your league. Your home is that way." He points toward suna after crushing the rocks.
Kankuro let's out a grawl," I hate guys like you. All talk and nothing to back it up. Why don't you come down here and face me?"
He starts to take crow of his back.
"Your gonna use crow for this? What if he shows up?" Temari gasped.
"Kankuro, stop it." Gaaras voice came from the same tree, making the others gasp.
"G-gaara," kankuro started.
"Your an embracement to our village. Playing around with children. Do you remember what we came here for."
"Yes, gaara," kankuro said."but its not my fault! They started it, you see, this is what happened, they-"
"Kankuro, by now I'd have thought you had the decency to shut up. Even you know its no use lying to gaara," kiera spoke up, drawing everyone's attention.
Gaara turned and looked at the shocked raven haired boy. "I'm sorry for the trouble he caused you."
Gaara then disappeared in a wave of sand, reappearing next to kiera.
"Let's go," he stated.
They turned to leave, but were stopped by the pinkette. She asked what they were doing in konoha, and temari explained about the chunin exams. They turned to leave again, but were stopped again, this time by the black haired boy.
"You two, what's your names." He demanded.
"W-who, me?" Temari asked.
"No, the spook beside you and the black haired girl," he turned her down.
"I am....gaara of the desert. I'm also curious as too who you might be. Who are you?" Gaara asked.
"Sasuke uchiha," he said cockily.
Everyone stared at kiera.
With a sigh, she complied with his request.
"My name is kiera mikazuki of the dark crescent moon." She stated.
Sasuke nodded.
They turned and left to go to there hotel.
