Elsa
"ANNA, ANNA, ANNA!"
She had just disappeared from the palace, but I continued to scream until my lungs hurt and I collapsed to the ground in defeat.
I was breathing heavily, my arms outstretched beside me and I looked up towards the chandelier, it glinting in the suns light.
Suddenly, I felt something wet running down my face, lifting my hand up towards my cheek and pulling it away quickly. "Tears?" I whispered, sitting up straight.
Then, I found myself sitting in the balcony room, the large snowflake beneath me. I bolted to my feet, spinning around in confusion, until I spotted something in front of me. Or someone.
It was a women, maybe in her late thirties, and she wore a similar dress to the ice one I had gotten rid of a while ago. She had a crown made of ice that shined gold on top of her chocolate brown hair, which was let loose around her shoulders.
Her dress also shined gold, and it spilt almost everywhere behind her, covering half of the icy ground. Her blue eyes shined with passion towards me, but also a little bit of hatred.
"Hello Elsa," she said, her voice sounding sad but angry in a kind of way.
I stood across from her, confusion and fear written on my face. "Who are you?" She never smiled, not even once. "Every Snow Queen must see the one before them Elsa, so you know."
My eyes widened and I took a fearful step back. "You're the.....?" I couldn't finished, I was to stunned. "The one who gave you your powers, yes." Her voice was soft as she spoke, the little bit of emotion she had had disappearing in minutes.
"But how? I mean, aren't we supposed to die when we give our powers to someone else?" A little bit of hope swelled within me, until she made a face with absolute disgust.
"There is no we Elsa. You are not a Snow Queen and you never really were." I wanted to ask what she meant, but she continued."My name is Erica, a Snow Queen that had been way more powerful and smarter than you," she spat. "I had saw your mother lost in the woods and luckily she was pregnant with you, giving me a chance and I took it. When I died, I had been watching over you and, was so disappointed."
She started walking a bit closer to me, making me back up and hitting the wall behind me. "You had hated your powers with all your might and I knew I had given them to the wrong girl. Maybe Anna would've done them justice. And when you had come back after being dead for five years, I thought that you would finally be the Snow Queen I wanted you to be."
I watched her, my eyes shaking in fear. "And you were, for a while. Until now, you lost your touch Elsa. You've changed your mind about what you wanted so many times, and they all involved Anna."
At Anna's name, she said it with venom. "What are you talking about?!"
"You still don't understand no?" She turned and walked away from me, only to quickly turn back around, smiling. It fit her face perfectly, but it was evil.
That was how I used to grin when I had come back but, why wasn't I now? I wasn't smiling, grinning or laughing, why? I wanted to know but I carefully listen to what Erica had to say.
"When you had woken up you wanted the crown, from Anna. Then you wanted to give your powers to someone else so you could move on and who was that to? Anna's child."
"No," I whispered, but she kept going."Then you wanted war with, who? Anna."
"Stop it, please."
"Now you want to die with Anna by your side."
"I said stop!" I tried impaling her with ice swords and spears, but they all went right through her. Because she was my imagination.
My eyes grew wide with realization. I was making her up? But why? Why would I want her here to judge me? And why was I making such a big deal about what she was saying? What's-what's...
"What's happening to me?" I asked aloud, my hands gripping my hair tightly. My eyes were shaking as I looked down at the icy ground below, only to find my reflection different.
In my reflection I was the old me. My hair was in the French braid, my ice dress shining. I gasped and shot my head towards Erica, who was nowhere in sight..
"Where are you? Where'd you go?!"
She didn't answer and I screamed in frustration, ice all around me exploding as I shrieked so loud all of Arendelle probably heard me.
"WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME?!"
Then, my whole castle exploded with me inside. It happened so fast I didn't have time to leave.
As the smoke cleared, I rose to my feet. Blood ran down my forehead, dripping to the floor. My legs were covered with scratches and bruises as I stood. All around me the ice still stood, because I had imagined it exploding and getting hurt. The ice castle was perfectly normal like nothing had ever happened.
Because I had imagined it.
My breath was raspy as I growled low in my throat. My eyes were shaking with fury as I thought of Anna and Arendelle.
"It's their fault," I whispered. "It's all their fault!"
I bolted out of the castle in rage, to find all the snowmen waiting for me. Obviously they hadn't heard the explosion but wondered what had happened to me.
I looked straight ahead at Arendelle, that was far off in the distance. I couldn't smile anymore, it was like it had been ripped off my face. Never coming again.
As I looked I noticed that my hair had become suddenly long again and in the French braid. It was messy but still good. It might've been because I was dying and if I had already started then that meant, Anna was having her child.
"I WILL HAVE WAR!" I screamed and the snowmen roared with anticipation.
