Unbroken

A helping hand.

Cyan wakes up on the floor, the leaves swiftly blowing in his face, a bright essence above him. He quickly sits up, feeling dizzy. He looks in front of him to see a girl, with black hair with a magenta streak in her hair quickly hesitating. Cyan looks over to see Serenity on the floor as well, however Kiana is no where to be seen...  He tilts his head up to see a girl kneeling between them both, a sky blue essence radiating from her hands. Her hair goes to the bottom of her back, a magenta strand going on the left side of her hair, shining in the sun, her clothes pitch black. Cyan looks up at her, mystified yet wary at her presence, glimpsing at Serenity who still appears to be knocked out from the impact. Cyan swiftly gets up, sword in hand, not letting his sight leave the girl. She turns, and her essence slowly from her hands slowly fade away, not leaving her sight from Cyan. The silent awaits them.. "Who are you?" He asks, remaining stiff. She tilts her head to the sides and remains silent, not saying a word, her eyes getting darker by the second. "I don't want to hurt you, I just want you to identify yourself." Cyan adds, feeling wary. The girl settles down slightly at that remark and her body seems to go less tense than it was before. "My name is Leona. I witnessed the attack on you and your companions and seek to help you." She says, her tone steady yet with a touch of silence. She slowly begins to stand normally and so does Cyan. Serenity on the other hand begins to wake up, not knowing any knowledge of what happened. She raises her head up slowly and stares at us both, before making the move of tackling the young girl down, hands behind her back. "What the!?" Leona questions. "No Serenity! Let her go! She is going to help us!" Cyan exclaims, getting shocked at the sight. Serenity growls, slowly letting her go and standing up, crossed arms. "That wasn't very nice.." Leona scoffs, wiping her knees full of cuts before standing straight again. Serenity just eyes her, staying silent. "Is no one going to talk about the fact that someone here is MISSING?" Cyan points out, his expression turning annoyed. Serenity looks around, then back at us. "Oh yeah where did she go?" She asks. 'Does she have no memory of the attack what so ever..?' Cyan thought. He looks at her and tilts his head slightly. "...Nevermind. let's just make a plan to get her back. ..Leona was it ?" Cyan asks, with a slight touch of doubt in his voice. She nods, and gives a little smile. "Perhaps we should find a shelter before making plans to go ahead? It is almost sundown after all..." Leona exclaims, putting her hands on her hips. They all agree in unison, walking on to the path, where it might be at least a little bit safer for them all.. The sun is barely in sight, as the leaves fall on to the ground, the breeze starting to reveal itself to everyone as the trees away back and forth. "Its getting a bit cold..  Why didn't we at least try to make ourselves something warm cyan?" Serenity moans, putting her arms around herself in attempt to get warmth. Cyan scoffs still walking. "I don't have the best ideas in the world. Kiana was the one who made this idea and we all agreed. Obviously we had a scheduled plan that clearly didn't go right, so do not blame any of us for how cold the weather is." He exclaims, his tone getting more irritated by the second. Serenity swallows and remains quiet.
Hours pass by and it has already hit sundown, the group of 3 remain on a path, exhausted and dehydrated. Cyan looks around to observe the area around them in hope they would be able to sleep somewhere secure and warm. He sees a campsite which dosen't seem to have any life on it. "It looks like there's an abandoned campsite over there! We could use that to shelter us for the night." Cyan points out, stopping in his tracks. "Okay, let's camp there. As we have been travelling for quite some time I think we should leave planning for tomorrow where we have more energy. It's for the best for us and the girl." Leona explains. They nod and head to the campsite, only the noise of crickets and the wind blowing interfering with the silence. They stand still, observing the campsite, 4 sleeping bags and 1 camp fire which hasn't been lit. "This looks okay." Serenity adds, trying to get something in.
Later on everyone's settled, the camp fires lit, Serenity and Leona are getting to know each other, whilst Cyan looks down at the campfire. A voice seems to be prying with his mind, getting him distracted. He dosen't know what it is, yet it seems so familiar... His eyes widen, knowing exactly what it is. "Somethings wrong... We need to go!!" Cyan exclaims, leaping from his seat. "..If it's that urgent, I'll make a portal somewhere. Wherever the girls took them, it will be somewhere in the underworld." Leona explains, strain in her voice. Then theres a light, and there's an explosion heading towards them. Serenity leaps in, swiping her hand with her dragon magic to deflect the attack, the magic turning to dust. A boy appears from the dust, in a fighting stance from his attack. "Go!! I'll catch up later!" Serenity yells. "You think we're gonna leave a friend behind?!" Cyan yells. Leona grunts as she creates a portal teleporting them both. "Thank you Leona.." she mutters, facing the boy in front of them. He strikes, the campfire goes out.
