"Well, I saved the world a few times. Graduated online college in chemistry. Never used my degree. Got engaged. Got dumped. The usual" Peter was embarrassed. Thinking back on it, he hadn't done anything incredible in a while. After May's death, everything had seemed routine and blended together into a painting of mediocrity. Well, until...
"I saved the multiverse Mr. Stark! There are more spider people like me!"
"Wait, online university?" Was that really his takeaway from the whole multiverse speech?
"Uh.... yeah."
"All of your genius inventions. All of your funds from my dramatic departure from this Earth. All of my hopes and dreams for you. AND YOU WENT TO ONLINE UNIVERSITY?!"
"It's a solid school."
"IT'S NOT EVEN CERTIFIED!!"
Tony was PISSED. His underoos was gone, replaced by this hopeless blob that didn't know how to use a napkin. He might never know why the universe sent him back. But he had a new goal: improve his son's garbage life.
"Let's go help people Pete" he needed to let off some steam.
"Do you have a suit?" Peter glanced hopefully towards Tony, but all he wore was his funeral outfit, which was not equipped with anything particularly heroic.
"No, but you do."
"Heh, what?"
