Louisa's p.o.v

I was just sitting with three of the four turtles watching whatever this weird tv show is called, but I didn't really bother to get into it, it's so weird. Their acting sounds so fake, but I couldn't help thinking about Donnie 'I have no idea what he sees in April. She's so into Casey, it's obvious! Does he not notice how I feel?' Casey runs in the lair out of breath. "Guys... April... sewers... hurry!" He says trying to catch his breath afterwards "dude, breathe first. Then you talk" I joke making Donnie chuckle a little, I smile softly, but then Donnie started worrying about April.

Mikey tried his best to calm Donnie, but he just made it worse "let's go!" Donnie said and instantly ran out of the lair, I sigh "let's just go." Raph patted my shoulder, he knows how I feel about Donnie, but apparently he just cares about April. With that we start walking, following Casey to where he last seen April, seriously April is lucky. She has two different dudes liking her, when I just want one specific dude to like me, this is stupid. Casey got Donnie upset, like usual, so I stand in-between the two and push them away from the other.

"Easy fellas, we don't have the time for immature children, we're on a search hunt, so let's get back to that" I joke, but I guess Donnie didn't like that. He walks past both Casey and I, shouldering us to get past, but he made me fall to the ground. I look up to see all the turtles walk past us, so Casey helps me up saying "sorry that Dorkatello is a jerk. You okay?" I sigh and nod "yeah, I'm fine, thanks for the help Casey" then we kept walking. Casey started getting scared by rats, causing me to just laugh a little "hey at least I'm not-" "Casey. You said you wouldn't tell!"

Raph raises an eyebrow at me "did you tell him somethin you didn't tell me?" I nod my head "it came up, he promised not to tell. Get over it" I guess we didn't notice what was happening with Casey, because he said "that was hideous." Raph looked at him saying "dude, you put your nose in a New York City sewer, what'd you expect?" I laugh a little at that. "Thought I saw-" he interrupted himself with a scream "Casey, what is it?" Leo asks him. "I saw it man, the demon rat!" Casey says making me ask "demon rat?" Next thing he's doing is hitting the ground.

'Oh great, he's finally lost it' I think to myself as Donnie and Raph put Casey against the wall "not gonna lie, that felt pretty good" said Donnie "not gonna lie. That looked pretty fun" I joke, Donnie laughed a little, but Casey still looked like he's seen a ghost. Aprils scream could be heard from here, making Donnie run, I groan but Raph just says "you're gonna have to tell him." I sigh saying "I know, it's just he's so focused on April, I might as well not" Leo put a hand on my shoulder. At that we follow to where we hear Donnie talking to April, she's sitting there with her knees to her chest.

That kinda reminds me of when I was at school, before I came to this dimension, I even got aged up a bit somehow, this is still so weird. My fear of...... "hold up, what's that sound?" Leo asks getting my attention, we look back. Turned out to be.... I don't even know what that little blue thing is "what is that?" Raph asked. "It's a mushroom! With feet!" Mikey says happily "it also looks like it has eyes" I say creeped out. Mikey didn't really care about my comment, but the mushroom jumped and grabbed onto his head.

I laugh a little seeing him hit his head alot of times to get the mushroom off, but Leo ended up throwing it off of Mikey, it's trying to come back. "It's on the move!" "I got this!" Raph let Casey be by himself, so I grab him to make sure he doesn't make a run for it. "Fascinating, evolved fungi" Donnie says, but the mushroom hits Raph with this weird yellow stuff. "Raph!" Leo and I yell, but the mushroom jumps onto Leos head, making Leo trip onto his back from Raph. The thing comes towards me, I flinch, but Donnie hits it away and out of here, I smile and thank him.

"Louisa, I'll save you from these rats!" Casey says and picks me up bridal style "Casey, there is no rats!" I yell as he starts running away from nothing. I roll my eyes and slap him across the face "will you snap out of it?!" I yell at him "there's rats everywhere. Don't you see them?!" He asks pointing at the ground "wait... you're seeing rats, while I'm not. That means that whatever these fungi are, they hit you with this weird stuff, and make you face you biggest fear. Great, this is just perfect!" I yell and drag Casey back to the lair "Casey, you experience the biggest rat of all. You should be fine!"

He tries to escape my hold, but I drag him along with me anyways, somehow he picks me up again and runs off "I am not gonna let you get dragged off by rats. NOOO!! They're everywhere!" I groan and hear Leo yelling for us in the distance "Casey, put me down." He looks around, and finally puts me down "okay, maybe I can reason with you, let's go right now." He asks "where?" I grab his wrist again saying "I know where we can go where there's no rats. Just trust and follow me, eee what is this weird stuff?" I ask no one in particular, but Donnie answered me.

"It's fungi, and when it hits you with its special toxins, it makes you face your biggest fear" I smile and say "it's good to see you guys again. I somehow reasoned with Casey to follow me, did I miss anything?" Leo was the first to say "no. We know just as much as you now" I tried to lean against the wall, but fall back "okay, I found their growing space." I joked, but Donnie said that these things grow in the dark, and that we have to get rid of them before sundown. "Louisa, I got your kunai and kamas in case you needed them" Donnie says and hands me them.

I thank him, but alot of fungi come out of nowhere "Louisa, can you keep an eye on these three while we get rid of these things?!" Leo asks as they all get in their stances. "You can count on me!" I say and stand up, Casey is still flinching every now again talking about rats. This won't be easy to keep them all in one spot, but I'll try my best to make them stay in place. The three turtles fight the fungi, but some try to shoot me, so Donnie stayed to help me. On the other point he could've also just wanted to protect April...... yeah that's probably what he was doing.
