Small Town Summer ✔️

My head was pounding as I worked on editing my vlogs.  I finally had wifi and I wasn't going to let this hangover effect my content. My phone chimed. 

Luke- Hey I'm sorry about last night. I got way too drunk. Grant said I was being an ass. 

Me- I dont really remember so i guess it couldnt have been that bad lol😆

My phone chimed with a text from an unknown number. 

Unknown- Hey it's Grant Luke gave me your number you left your necklace in my car. 

Luke- Wanna do something today?

Me to Luke- I'm editing some videos right now but maybe later. I'll text you. 

Luke- cool

Me to Grant- Luke and I are doing something later i think. I could probably grab it from you then. 

Grant- 👍

After uploading a couple videos I decided to take a shower hoping it would make me feel better. Then I went down to eat lunch with my mom and Aaron. My dad had apparently run to the store to pick up some tools. I was hoping he didn't have much to do on the house and could get it done quickly. I wanted to get the hell out of here. Luke was a nice distraction but I missed my friends and my life in Cleveland. 

We ate our sandwiches while we all stared at our phones. I replied to comments on my videos while Aaron cyberstalked some insta models. I decided to text Luke. 

Me- I'm down to hang if you still are

Luke- 💯 i'll be there in 20 

Luke picked me up and we drove around town and talked while he pointed out different hang out spots. 

"So ya'll are leavin in a month, huh?" Luke asked after we passed the school. The town was so small they just had one school that held k-12th grade. 

"Yeah, hopefully. Not that I don't enjoy your company," I giggled. "but i'm ready to get out of this small town." 

"I understand."

"What are you going to go to school for?" I asked him as we headed out of town. 

"I don't know for sure yet. I'm thinkin somethin to do with sports though. What about you Ashlyn, what do ya like to do?"

"I don't know if I'll go to college. My youtube channel is really successful. I've got about 650k subscribers so youtube pays me for my content and I get sponsorships too. I think I might just stick with it and see where it takes me. I'd like to travel thought, that i know for sure."

"I'll have to check out your videos."

I burst out laughing. "They're mostly make up tutorials, fashion vlogs and how to videos aimed at teen girls. I don't think you'll like them."

"If I get to stare at your pretty face I'm sure I'll love em." He said and put his hand on my thigh. 

Luke was really hot but Marley had said he was a ho. I wasn't quite sure what he was doing with someone like me. No one had ever touched or seen my body. I knew I wasn't ready for sex. I wasn't waiting for marriage but I wanted to be in love when I lost my virginity. 

Luke parked his truck in some empty parking lot. I really wasn't sure where we were.

"Slide over here, girl." Luke said as he put his arm over the back of the seat. 

"Luke, I'm a- uh a virgin." I said nervously. 

"That's fine, baby. I ain't tryin to take your virginity. But that don't mean we can't have fun, right?" He said as he tucked a loose piece of hair behind my ear.
