I blinked twice to make sure I was hallucinating. I wasn't. The look the man watching gave me chills up my spine.
He frightened me. Out of fear I pressed closer to Jason,his warmth making me feel safe.
Just then the man ran away and into the woods. I sighed in relief.
"Are you ok,now?" He hugged me close to him.
"I don't think I will ever be ok, I'm never going to be safe."
"I promise your safe with me,I won't let anyone hurt you."
I sighed.
"It's not other people that I'm afraid of, it's myself." I could tell by his expression he thought I was crazy.
" I'm not gonna force you, to tell me what's wrong, but just know I'm here if you want to talk."
There was something about him.I don't know if it was his eyes or just his words, but i felt calm and comfortable with him. I smiled.
Without knowing what I was doing I realized I that our lips were moving slowly together.
We just laid there kissing passionately.
Just then something between my knees vibrated.My phone. Jason felt it too he looked shocked. Did he think I was vibrating?I felt him smile in confirmation. I chuckled. I grabbed my phone. Making his smile fade.
"Hello"
It was my ex:Alejandro.
I quickly hung up. It angered me.After all he had put me through,months later,Alejandro called me now. The stress of the day started to take it's toll on me and i felt tired.
"Its getting kind of late."
"I can take you home if you want."
"Well I don't have to go, but.. well what do you want?"
"Um I want you to stay, you don't have to if you don't want to."
I moved in closer to him, my nose touching his ear. I whispered:" Staying is a bad choice for me, but I'll do it anyway." I knew it was a bad idea for me to stay, but I hated being alone. My mom was working late and dad where on some business trip, and I had no idea where my brother and sister were, maybe at my uncle's house.
"Ok, your staying,good" I nodded.
Jason smiled and I heard him whisper something to himself.
Yes I heard him say.
