Chapter 8

*****1 week later****

Josh won't return my phone calls.

Hannah was a nice roommate.

Eric keeps calling but I won't answer.

I walked to my classes when I saw josh on the other side of the quad.

I waked over to him but when he saw me coming he waved to his friends and left.

"Hey guys did josh say where he was going?" I asked Matt

"No. He's not in the mood to talk." Matt said.

"Oh ok thanks. Can you just tell him I love him an I miss him."

"Sara he's not ready."

I nodded and walked away.

One tear fell down my warm face.

I wiped it and put a fake smile on.

"HEY! Sara so um what's up?" Hannah said.

She walked up to me.

"Hi it's not a good time for me." I said and I kept walking.

I tried calling josh but he wouldn't answer. I'm miserable I didn't mean to kiss Eric. Eric kissed me. I mean I don't like Eric anymore I love josh.

It was Friday and spring break was about to begin. Every year there is this big party at one of the boy frat houses. Everyone goes so ill make my move on josh then.

I mean I could get him alone and ill know he'll be there. I stuffed my books into by bag. School was over and I didn't have any plans so I decided to go to the park.

I saw a couple kissing on a bench which made me think of Eric....I mean Josh. I looked tot eh right an there were some kids playing soccer and some kids on the playground. I walked over to a shady tree. I could see almost the whole park. On a picnic table in front of me there was a girl that goes to my college. Her name was jay she's kind of a bad ass.

She was sitting alone smoking a cigarette. She blew the smoke out of her mouth.

I walked up to her.

"Hi......" I said as I sat next to her.

She turned towards me and nodded.

"Jay."she said while extending her hand.

I shook it and smiled.

"Wanna sig." She said.

She pulled a cigarette out from her pocket and a lighter.

"Sure....." I took the sig and lighter.

It was my first time smoking so I didn't know what to do.

Jay looked at me like I was crazy.

I lit the sig and stuck it in my mouth. I inhaled and took the sig out and exhaled. I coughed. I felt like I couldn't breathe.

"You ok dude. Is this our first time? Haha " jay said. She smiled and patted t back.

"Yeah it's *cough* my first *cough* time......" I said.

I looked up at we and smiled. She started cracking up.

"We'll why didn't you tell me it's your first time. I would have explained it to you. You took it in wrong. Watch." She said as she inhaled the sig.

I told her everything. I don't know why but she was so easy to talk to. Turned out she doesn't have a roommate so I thought I would move in with her.

We sat there on the picnic table talking and watching the sunset.

"You know what you need." Jay said as she stared at me.

"What?" I answered.

"A makeover lets go now."

"Okay sure."

We walked to my Mini Cooper an drove to a hair salon.

"Okay trust me imgoing to do stuff to your hair. So you can't look." Jay said as the stylist sat me down.

Jay whispered something to the stylist and he nodded.

I closed my eyes and took a nap. I woke up and hour later.

"Okay done....look in the mirror." The stylists aid.

I turned around and my long brown hair was now blonde with black roots and it was short. I like it.

"Thank you." I said as I handed her the money.

Jay and I went back to the dorm.

"I'm going to tell my roommate ill meet you at your dorm." I said as I Parked the Mini Cooper.

I walked to my dorm and the door was wide open.

"Hey Hannah I'm going to spend te night at a friends ok." I said as I let my bag down.

"Hannah?" I yelled. I walked over to her room.

"Hannah?" I said again.

There was no answer. I walked to my room where Hannah was laying on my bed listening to music.

I marched up to her and pulled the earphones out of her ears.

" Hannah why are you in my room?" I yelled at her.

"I just thought I could lay on your bed...." Hannah said.

"We'll you can't!"

"Fine ill go. Gosh calm down."

"Ugh!! Well in staying at a friends dorm."

I packed some clothes and locked my bedroom door. She gave me a dirty look as i walked out.

I was walking across campus when I saw josh and ....Eric. They were yelling at each other.

I ran towards them.

"Guys what's going on." I yelled.

"Sara I'm sorry for kissing you but you deserve to be with me. " Eric said. He grabbed my hand

"Sara I love you and I miss you please talk to me lets talk please." Josh said. He grabbed my other hand.

I shook both hands.
