Chapter 7

We've been here at the hospital for hours.

My mom had to leave because she had stuff to do and I was sitting in the room with Hayes.

He just got his dark blue cast on and was kind of bummed out because he was limited on his physical activities.

"Hayes?" "Yeah?" He looked up at me

"Now will you please tell me what happened?"

He sighed and looked down

"Nash decided to call Cameron and go to his house so I walked home because I didn't want to go with them. While I was walking home I walked past one of the guys at our school and we honestly hate each other. Anyways, he started to tease me and follow me around talking about you. I couldn't take it anymore so I just punched him in the face. It felt good, but it also hurt like hell."

"Hayes?" "Yes?" "Why?"

"Why what?" "Why would you do that?" "Because he was making me mad." "Yeah, but you didn't have to punch the guy." "I'm sorry, i just couldn't hold myself back. I don't like when people talk shit about the ones that I care about."

"Hayes, I am flattered that you would do this for me and cared enough, but please don't do that ever again."

He silently chuckled "ok. I'll try."
