(Hot A/N) Aight so I don't usually add these but I am excite. I'm gonna get a skateboard soon and i'm so excited because my mom was not budging on her no but she finally said okay. hehe

I flipped my board up into my hand as the group and I crossed the street. I helped Freddy across the street and hummed, an earbud in my ear. I overheard Darla talking to Billy, but I decided to strike up a conversation with Freddy. "So, how'd you sleep?" "Like a baby!" He flashed me a smile. I smiled back, rubbing his beanie on his head. "You look like a nerd with that on." He blushed, "It keeps my ears warm!" I giggled and poked his nose, walking up the stairs. "I'm teasing, nerd." I flipped my backpack around to my front side, and shoved my skateboard into it slightly. I tossed my bag and phone onto the bag check, and took my earbud out. The security guard checked my bag, then I went to go stand with Freddy. I stood with him for a moment and watched the others go through the bag check. Freddy checked his phone and watched as Darla ran up and hugged Billy. "Have a good first day, big brother!" "Look, you don't have to hug me all the time. We're not actually brother and sister." What a jerk! Darla's the sweetest thing on the planet. "I'm sorry.." She walked towards Freddy and I. "Hey, hon." "Hey." "Hey.." The three of us exchanged greetings. "I didn't mean to make her-" Freddy waved him off as he put an arm around Darla, and we walked her to class. "Hey, don't let him get to you. He's just new and scared, okay baby?" I smiled down at her. She looked up and nodded. "How'd you sleep, D?" "Good." "Did you have any dreams?" I tried my best to get her mind off it. "Yeah, actually. I had a dream where there was a unicorn in the house! And she brought us all cupcakes! Even you, Y/n!" I smiled and patted her head, "That's awesome!" Freddy smiled and mouthed Thank you. I nodded and smiled. "Well, I'll see you after class, Darla! Love you!" She smiled brightly up at me, "Love you, too!!" She hopped into her classroom as Freddy and I walked to our shared class. "You always can put the brightest smile on her face." He smiled and ruffled my hair. I giggled, "She deserves it. She's the sweetest thing ever." He smiled at me, but stayed quiet. We walked into class and started the day.

I shoved myself into Freddy's mind, "What's the answer to number five?" "Really? You're using your powers for this?" I smirked a bit, "Yes, of course. What else would I use it for?" "I don't know, maybe finding out who the bad guys are in public?" "That sounds boring when I could use it to get the answers from the... from the smartest kid in the class!" I focused my attention on the smartest kid in the room, kept it, and copied down the answers as he read them in his head. I fixed them to be my own and turned the work in a bit after him. I went back to Freddy, "Guess who's about to get a ninety-six!" He rolled his eyes as I passed him to sit back at my desk, and class went on.

I went and sat down by Billy after the lunch bell rang, "Hey." "Hi." We sat in silence for a bit until I spoke up. "How's your day been?" He simply shrugged. Quick enough, Freddy threw himself into the table we were sat at. He sat between Billy and I as he began one of his rants, "Flight or invisibility?" I smiled at him and took a couple of his fries, but he was distracted. "If you could have one superpower, what would you pick? Flight or invisibility?" I nudged him, "Freds..." "I-I mean, everybody chooses flight! You know why?" Billy raised his eyebrows in annoyance, "So they can fly away from this conversation." I giggled at this, and he flashed me a weak smirk back. "No, because heroes fly! And who doesn't want people to this they're a hero, right?" Billy started getting up and grabbed his tray, walking away. Freddy, however, continued his rant. I sat quietly and kept listening to his rant, rolling my eyes and smirking. "But, but invisibility! No way! I mean, that's perfect! Spying around on people who don't even know you're there, sneaking around everywhere, th-th- total villain power, right?!" The lunchroom grew quiet as Freddy ended up yelling the last sentence. "C'mon, Y/n, we can't lose him!" He grabbed his crutch and tray and hobbled quickly after him. I followed the boys hurriedly and listened to Freddy continue. "Then they did this study," I rolled my eyes as he threw the entire tray into the trash, "and this is a real thing! They asked people the same question, 'What power do you want?' but this time, they made it so the answers were anonymous!" I looked over at Billy with his hands in his pockets, looking tired of life. "And most people, since they knew that it was secret, said invisibility! And I think that's 'cause most people don't feel like heroes on the inside.. deep down..." Billy started to enter the boys restroom when Freddy said one thing that made him freeze; "You're gonna run away." The new boy looked back at him with a mixture of guilt, shame, and confusion. I focused my mind on him and started sorting through his thoughts. "Yeah, I'm gonna run away. Because you and your girlfriend are annoying." I glared as I heard Freddy's words echo in the distance, "I mean, you stole my superman bullet." I sorted through the boy's thoughts again. "How did he know? Does he check it every morning?" I stared at Billy for a good moment, and he noticed I was staring. "Why is she staring at me? Weirdo. I can't help that the bullet is good money." I huffed and almost released him from my thoughts until I heard a weird comment from his brain; "Why's such a beautiful girl gotta hang with this annoying kid? She isn't as bad as him, but he follows her everywhere." I stared in shock as I finally lost focus on his thoughts. "Dude, I get it! I get it. You've been screwed over way too many times." I scrunched my eyebrows at Billy. Did he like me or something? Is that why he was quiet around me? I thought he was just being a prick. "You don't trust anyone. But that's the thing about invisibility. You end up all by yourself." I stared at him and quickly dug through his thoughts again to see why he kept the guilt look. "I need the bullet for money. I want to be by myself. He's right. I'm not going to let him know that though." "I didn't steal your dumb bullet." He entered the boy's room, and Freddy made a Yeah, sure you didn't face. He walked off and I followed. "Dude, I read his thoughts. That kid's a trainwreck." I blushed, remembering the comment he made on me. "Oh yeah, you can do that! Did he take it, or was I wrong?" "He took it. You shouldn't have told him how much it costed. He's going to use the money to live on his own." He nodded. "He also called me beautiful." "What?!" "Yeah.. it was weird. He insulted you, but complimented me." "What'd he say about me?" "Just said you're annoying. You can be, though." I joked and nudged him, and he rolled his eyes and messed my hair up. "He wasn't wrong about you being beautiful. Of course you are." I blushed again. "Thanks, Freds." "No prob, Bob." I giggled and nudged him again as we went to our last classes of the day.

I walked out of the building with Freddy by my side, and ironically Billy in front of us. He kept to himself, and when Mary asked him how his day went, he flat out ignored her. Freddy was walking forward, me being a little ways behind him, when suddenly the familiar black truck that harassed us pulled forward and knocked the boy over. "Dude!" I yelled loudly. I bent over and helped Freddy. Mary joined me in helping the poor kid. The Breyer brothers exited the vehicle and yanked Freddy up, "No way that's gonna buff out," "You gonna pay for that, Freeman?" "For the dent you made almost hitting me? Yeah, sure, do you guys take these?" He flipped the boys off. They laughed mockingly before throwing them to the ground. They started kicking him, and I glared before going to shove one of the boys back, "Stop hurting him!" I yelled angrily. I hadn't even touched Burke, but he was sent flying back a good two feet. My eyes widened as I raised my hand a bit. Brett grabbed me by the collar, "Just because you're a girl doesn't mean we won't hurt you!" He slammed me against the truck and punched me in the gut. I groaned as Burke got up and went back to Freddy, "I'll take care of this one, you get the girl!" "No! Leave her alo-" Freddy was kicked again, groaning. Brett threw me to the ground beside Freddy, and they teased him with his crutch. "Stand up for yourself! Oh, you can't!" "What, are you gonna go cry to your mommy?" "Oh, that's right! You don't have a mommy!" I groaned as I got kicked, trying to shield Freddy off from most of the kicks, until I heard a yell. "Hey!" The Breyers turned around, and Burke was met to a crutch whack to the face. Brett was hit right in the groin. I groaned and sat up, pulling Freddy backwards with me. I stared at Billy as he held the crutch and looked down at Brett. "Man, sorry about that! That wasn't fair, but then again, you guys don't fight fair, so-" I stared, but somehow got some of Billy's thoughts mixed with mine. "No one reminds a kid that they have no mom. No one. And no one hurts a cute girl, either. She didn't deserve that." Suddenly, he was tackled against the truck by Burke, and a punch was thrown into his stomach. He yelled out in pain as he was thrown to the ground, too. Eugene saved us, though. Saved Billy, mostly. "Back off, ass-bags, I know how to use these things!" I looked over to see the kid waving around nun-chucks he somehow got. Eugene then proceeded to whack himself in the back of the head with the nun-chucks. The Breyers were distracted for long enough for Billy to make a run for it. "Get him!" The two ran after him down the sidewalk. I sighed and realized Freddy and I were holding onto each other for dear life. I helped him sit up, and grabbed his crutch. I helped him up and put his crutch in his arm, then wrapped his free arm around me. "C'mon, let's get you home and fixed up." I motioned for the other family members to follow home.

Freddy groaned as I felt around his chest, "Sorry if this is weird, but you're gonna have to lift your shirt up." He blushed furiously, "Wh-" "I have to see if you broke any bones." I rolled my eyes. He lifted his shirt a bit to reveal newly-forming bruises. I huffed and felt each rib, taking his silence as he was fine. "No broken ribs, but you got a crapload of bruises on your stomach." I sighed and lowered his shirt. "Just take it easy, 'kay?" He nodded. I sighed and sat down with him, remembering throwing Burke two feet back without even touching him. To others it probably looked like I did, but I know for a fact I didn't. "Freddy.." My voice cracked a bit. He looked over, "Hey, hey, you okay y/n?" I nodded, "I just... you know how I threw Burke back a few feet by hitting him?" He nodded, scrunching his eyebrows up in concern and putting a hand on top of my free one. "I didn't actually touch him." "What? What do you-" "I didn't touch him. I threw him back, but I never felt the impact of hitting his body with my hand." He stared for a minute. "Telekinesis? Maybe?" I shrugged. "No clue. I think so, though. Y-You were in trouble and I panicked and-" Freddy blushed and smiled at me, "Thanks, y/n. I.. I l-" Rosa opened the door, "Freddy, Billy never came home. Do you know where he could've gone?" He shook his head. "We're gonna call the police. Can you come do the dishes?" He sighed and nodded, and with that, Rosa left. "Don't worry, Fred's. I'll help you do the dishes." I helped him up and smiled at him. He returned the smile, "Thanks, y/n."
